How to spot 1200 HP Bugatti Veyron, this is a not a fundamental problem of the automotive industry but it is good to know the trick. Before I start, Bugatti revealed the Veyron with 1001 HP and on 2010, they decided to add 199 more horses and increase the power to 1200 HP.
As a result of this, Bugatti added two additional fuel pumps and making it four fuel pumps! Also four larger turbo chargers, Veyron has four-turbo chargers already! Also, the whole body is from carbon fibre, so it is relatively lighter. 1200 HP Bugatti has the same amount of radiator, 11!
Now, how to spot a 1200 HP Bugatti Veyron. Very simple, check the front of the car and you will see the horseshoe grill. 1200 HP Veyron has a relatively larger grill and you will not see the raising part at the low end of the horseshoe grill. That’s the most significant difference. However, it hasn’t finished yet. The front air intakes located under the left and right headlights are relatively larger and radiators are exposed more for better air circulation.
From the rear, the diffuser and exhaust of the 1200 HP Veyron is different than 1001 HP model. 1200 Veyron has two significant exhaust ending but the 1001 Veyron only has one.
Engine size is the same 8-litre W16 engine just the horsepower and torque higher than the original Veyron.
You can easily spot the differences on the photos. And next time, you see and a Bugatti Veyron, you can easily tell its horsepower! But never tell the owner; you couldn’t afford to buy a 1200 HP Veyron.
