Montblanc recently revealed the UNICEF collection. The details of the Montblanc and the UNICEF partnerships are;
Montblanc, through its partnership with UNICEF, aims to help improve learning for over 5 million children. The funds raised by the initiative will help UNICEF to support national education quality standards that cover pedagogy, reading and writing, the learning environment, community involvement, infrastructure and measuring of learning outcomes. In addition, funds will go towards teacher training programmes, as well as guidance and tools to ensure teachers have the knowledge necessary to deliver quality education to students.
As soon as the ink was available, I managed to get a bottle of the Montblanc UNICEF ink collection! It is a limited edition and although slightly more expensive than the normal limited edition it comes in a slightly larger bottle. You will get 50ml of UNICEF ink, compared with the limited editions which is usually only 30ml! Anyway, the ink is amazing!
I own many Montblanc inks, and this one is the best in terms of colour. If you are looking for a new ink for your fountain pen, I would highly recommend the UNICEF ink.
The UNICEF collection of fountain pens are based on Le Grand and 149 Skeleton. The best pen in this collection is the UNICEF 149 Skeleton. The transparent resin offers a unique writing and visual experience.
