Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2016 Handbags

We all know the Christian Louboutin brand from their iconic red soled high heeled shoes. However, that’s not the end of the story. Louboutin has moved from the design of high heels to handbags. I had the chance to attend the press day dealing with the launch of the Spring/Summer 2016 Christian Louboutin handbag collection.

Unfortunately, you have to wait a few more weeks to see the collection. However, I can share the atmosphere of the press day. The beautiful dinner table was made totally from items from the handbags.

Definitely, that’s a great dinner table for fashionistas!

Cruise 2016 collection brings the spirit of cruise with a sleek design. The collection provides not an expectational look but also provides a comfort that is necessary for the cruise journeys.

A few years ago, I wrote about Joanne Stoker. She had collaborated with shoe label Dune for a special collection. And recently, I visited Joanne’s website to check out her latest collection; naturally it features high heels. However, there is one thing that makes the collection unique. These heels are not only comfortable for everyday use but you can even drive a car wearing them.

Her Brigitte model is a pointy-toe high heeled pump. Probably the most comfortable pair of pointy-toe pumps you can wear! The most eye-catching models are the ones with cubed heels. Some feature Perspex cubes, others have tiny square holes across the heels; these in particular would create great shadow effects on a sunny day. Although this may not happen that often in England.

I know, you might be thinking there are lots of shoe designers so why single out Joanne Stoker this season? The unique details like the squares in the heels, and the attention to comfort for modern multi-tasking heel-lovers means Joanne Stoker is sure to win yet more fans.

The Cannes Film Festival has banned flat shoes for the red carpet which has become trending news on social media sites. According to the Cannes Film Festival, ladies are expected to wear high heels. I guess the motto is: higher heels = greater star power! So I came up with an idea, Flat Shoes Suggestion for The Cannes!

The unfortunate response to the Cannes drama has triggered a massive outcry on social media and motivated women to avoid wearing heels on the red carpet. And I totally understand this. If flat shoes do not ruin a lady’s style, that should be fine. Everyone should have freedom of personal style as long as it is suitable for an event like this.

So I found some super sexy flats shoes that would rock the Cannes red carpet. Although you could still go for staggering stiletto heels!

As expected, Gianmarco Lorenzi offers eye-catching pointy toe pumps! The heel heights start from 10-cm ramping up to a staggering 16-cm! And this season’s surprise is the mules harking back to the late 1990s and early 2000s.
