Real Life on This Planet

If you are reading my blog for quite some time, you might have realised that I am writing about a world that does not exist for most of us. More than €2 millions only for a car, €3000 for a pair shoes or a mobile phone case just for €500. Unfortunately, these numbers or products do not reflect the real life on this planet. Only less than %10 of world population has the financial power to live in this ‘real’ world. 
What about the rest? Nearly %25 of world population is trying to survive under $1 per day. Basically, a mobile phone case means nearly two years of food money, a pair shoes probably will provide them food forever. 
Unfortunately, human is the only specie on this planet needs money for accessing food to eat. Probably, money is the worst invention of us.
Basically, if you don’t have money, you don’t have chance to survive on this planet. If any other type of life form watches our behaviours from space, I think we play a great drama.

Moreover, BeoPlay A3 can understand how the sound system is placed and revises the speakers according to this position. At any angle, BeoPlay A3 gives you the best sound experience.

The Cheapest Apple Product: Apple MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Convertor

Apple MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter, the cheapest Apple product available on market. If you own a new series of MacBook Pro Retina or any other Apple device with new MagSafe 2 power connector, you might have realised one thing. New MagSafe 2 connector is not compatible with previous MagSafe. No one knows why but Apple revised the power connector.

Thus, MagSafe cannot be used for MagSafe 2 unless you have the adapter. Don’t worry this adapter is really cheap. I am not joking! In UK, MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Convertor is only £9 ($10, €10). If you want to own a piece of Apple, this is the answer.

MagSafe 2 Convertor is the most beautiful Apple product ever produced. I am very serious with this. To justify, the connector is block of aluminium with perfect shape. I think MagSafe 2 Convertor is produced up by a CNC machine. Otherwise, it is nearly impossible to have this precision.

When you touch the convertor, you can feel the quality and attention to details. This type of attention to detail cannot be seen in any other brand. When you think about this convertor, it does not have a very serious role and it is only converting old MagSafe to new MagSafe 2, that’s all.

Many other brands will use plastic for this convertor and it will look really dull and ugly. Hopefully, Apple does not have this mentality and therefore their products are piece of art.

According to Montblanc, the heart represents the universal symbol of eternal love and the star represents Montblanc’s enduring passion for the craftsmanship and design. However, don’t use the second part! If you buy this gift and say the slogan together, it will not end up pretty well! Because, second part will be perceived as showing off or posing. So just stick with the heart :)

Montblanc New Collection at Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie 2013

Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) 2013, you might be struggling to understand what this is! I am not going to play word tricks and explain it straight away. SIHH is the international watchmaking show, similar to Geneva Motor Show. Instead of cars, they have watches, which cost more than many cars.
During the SIHH 2013, Montblanc revealed their new watch collection, seven new watches from the state-of-art handcrafted engineering. I will be posting each individual watch with technical details in following days, I don’t want to pour too much information to page.
Meantime, you can have a look to new Montblanc watch collection. My favourite is the TimeWalker Voyager UTC, the main reason for choosing this watch is the design. All other Montblanc watches are piece of art, however TimeWalker Voyager UTC is matching with my perception to design and looks younger than the others. Of course, this is subjective :)

Leica V-Lux 40: Early Valentine’s Day Present

Leica V-Lux 40 is a pocket size 14,1-megapixel digital camera with 20x optical zoom. And the cheapest Leica you can purchase, with the price tag of £550! I know this price tag is very close to some of them DSLR cameras on market. However there is minor a problem, if you want to buy a DSLR with a 20x optical zoom lenses from Leica, the price tag will not stay inside the barrier of £550. It will jump to shocking levels!
Basically, Leica V-Lux 40 offers the best Leica experience for this. V-Lux 40 offers the usual suspect, the GPS function with touch screen display. I really don’t understand the point of GPS on a digital camera, as long as you won’t be constructing a building in the middle of Sahara desert, why do you need to tag your photos with GPS data. It consumes battery power, but people love it!
As you expected, the menus of Leica is from the Panasonic however, when you experience the V-Lux 40 you will realise that the menus on Leica is more comprehensive and provide more manual control than the Panasonic version! 
V-Lux 40 also offer 3D recording, which I find it another pointless function on digital camera, again people love this!
The lenses of the Leica offer 24-480 mm wide range with F/3.3-6.4. And the ISO levels up to 3200. According to results from the 3200 ISO level, the level of noise is acceptable but high ISO level is never recommended by the photographers. Do your best and try to take photos in lower ISO level with longer shutter speed by tripod. You will definitely see the improved quality of the photos. In addition, Leica is one of the best lenses makers in the world, if you manage to push the limits of the V-Lux 40, the results from the Leica will be amazing!
Many people will think that, you used a DSLR while taking the photos.
Lastly, each compact camera comes with the tendency to fall and hit to ground. Therefore, I highly recommend you to buy the original case for the Leica. It is £80, but you already paid £550 ;) 
Leica V-Lux 40 would be a great valentine’s day present. It is one of the best camera maker and never dissatisfied their customer and you will not feel that you bought something just expensive. Leica is expensive but it does worth!

150 Years of London Undergrand (Tube): A Documentary from 1963

Yesterday, London celebrated the 150 years of the iconic transportation method by a steam powered train. I think many of you watched the footage or saw the photos. So, I did some YouTube research to watch something related with the London Tube and I found a documentary of London Tube.
London Tube documentary on YouTube was from 1963, 100 years of the London Underground. I really don’t whether it is available on DVD or Blu-ray. However, I embedded the video from the YouTube. If you have time, please watch and if you found an original copy, please buy it :)

Montblanc Albert Einstein Limited Edition: Don’t Miss It

Montblanc Albert Einstein Limited Edition! Montblanc recently revealed a new series of limited edition pens, Einstein. Don’t worry you don’t need to know about relativity in order to own one. However, you will understand the relativity when you understand the Montblanc Einstein series. 
There are two editions are available from Montblanc, 99 pieces and 3000 pieces. 99 pieces Montblanc Einstein is named as Einsteinium, which is a chemical element with the atomic number of 99. Montblanc Einsteinium is crafted from 750 solid white gold and the body of the pen is covered with the net with filigree overlay representing the space-time curve. And that look amazing, honestly Einsteinium is definitely one of the best Montblanc pens ever made. The clip of Einsteinium is bejewelled with 1,3 ct sapphire and the Montblanc icon is carved out of moonstone.
And the relatively expensive part, Montblanc Albert Einstein Limited Edition 99 piece cost £19,656!
However, there is a relatively cheaper one, Montblanc Albert Einstein Limited Edition 3000 pieces. Relatively cheaper and relatively more common! This edition refers to speed of light and platinum plated lines are inspired from the space-time curve. Platinum barrel of the cap is engraved with Einstein’s most famous scientific formula. And you may try to learn this formula by using this pen and probably consume a lot of ink during this task :)
