Gucci x Adidas Umbrella, Sorry Sun Umbrella

Recently, Adidas and Gucci revealed a collection. You will find everything from high heels, to keyrings, to umbrellas – literally. This type of collaboration is expected; two brands reveal a collection together and boost their revenues. Nothing wrong with that.

However, the problem is when they sell an umbrella, it is not designed to be used in the rain. Gucci x Adidas Sun Umbrella is not intended to be used in the shower. If you try it, you will get wet for £870! I have seen many umbrellas from luxury brands, and all of them did their primary function – keeping you dry from the rain!

I understand that Gucci x Adidas wanted to introduce a product that can be used only under the sun and that’s fine on paper. However, when the product is released, the human brain’s basic function of heuristics kicks in (behavioural economics), and we recall rain and being dry. Unfortunately, this umbrella will not do this, and you will be paying a considerable price for it.

People started to mock this sun umbrella on social media, but I am sure people will buy it!

Adidas recently announced their wedge heels sneakers collection. During last few years, +adidas reposition itself from only sport brands to fashion brand and introduced shoes that keep up well with the fashion trends. As a result of this clever strategy, they managed to extend their customer range into a new land.

And recently, Adidas introduced the wedge-heeled sneakers for the women collection. This trend became so popular with designer brands and I was expecting to see Adidas as well.

Porsche 911 S from Adidas

Porsche 911 S is the faster version of 911 with 400 HP and 440 Nm of torque from the 3.8-lt boxer engine. I always love the 911, but the price tag was the biggest obstacle between me and the 911. Unfortunately, the price of Porsche 911 models usually starts with five digits and end up with six digits. If you are looking for a reasonably priced Porsche 911, you need to travel back in time for some decades.

Or you can visit the nearest Adidas store or the online store and buy a pair of Porsche 911 S shoes. I am not joking, Adidas offers the iconic Porsche 911 model as a pair shoes. I know, this sounds a bit awkward and unusual to wear a car as a shoe. But I loved it. Adidas Porsche 911 S is mid-cut designed with the inspiration from 24-hour Monte Carlo race. And Porsche won this race three times with 911 S model. Adidas Porsche 911 S has inspirations of the cooling system and the engine of the Porsche 911 S.

Price of Adidas Porsche 911 S is £130 and horsepower depends on your personal power. And only offered as black and white.

Adidas Goodyear Collection Shoes

Adidas Goodyear is back again. For quite long time, I did not see any shoes from Goodyear in Adidas, even if they had some, I didn’t notice them. However, I just saw a new model in Adidas’s online store and remembered the first time when I saw the Goodyear collection in Adidas nearly eight years ago!

In 2004, there were many Goodyear collection shoes in Adidas stores around the world, however this did not end for long time. As time passes, we tend to see less and less Goodyear models. Meanwhile, some of the models were not that eye-catching at all. Therefore, I didn’t pay that attention to Goodyear collection, except this model!

This new Goodyear collection Adidas worth a look! And I have no idea which Goodyear tyres was inspired for the soles of these shoes. In the past, Goodyear Eagle F1 was the most common one, but long time ago.
