New Bentley Continental GT V8 S

Bentley introduced brand new Continental GT V8 S. What I understand from this new car is, it sounds too German! Because, every German car has a name with S, M, F, and lots of other types abbreviation to differentiate the car from the other models by adding non-sense letter. 
Anyway, the Bentley Continental GT V8 S is designed to fill the gap between the V8 and W12. Also, offer a Speed version of V8 model. As you know that, Bentley Continental GT W12 model offer one normal and one Speed versions. So, V8 suppose to this and fill the price gap as well.
Anyway, V8 Continental is appreciated by the journalist and many people. Even, I wouldn’t mind to buy one! The S version of Continental GT V8 offers 528 HP from 4-lt petrol engine and 680 Nm of torque. 4.5 seconds is enough to reach 100 km/h and the top speed is 308 km/h. The S version is also stiffer suspension and drive train to offer better handling and experience.

Mercedes New S-Class vs. Bentley Flying Spur

Mercedes S63 AMG 4MATIC vs. Bentley Flying Spur. The ultimate comparison! Personally, I don’t fancy that much to write about comparing two different cars. I did some but didn’t really like the concept that much. Because, there is no fun and passion whilst comparing two cars. However, the new Mercedes S63 AMG 4MATIC and new Bentley Flying Spur ignite some passion.

Mercedes S63 AMG 4MATIC is the AMG version of the new S-Class with four-wheel drive system branded as 4MATIC. Literally, S63 AMG 4MATIC will be able to go through snow covered roads during the winter and I am sure it will be so much fun to four-wheel drive S63 AMG. However, at the end of the day that’s a Mercedes S-Class. Basically, the most common and least passionate large luxury sedan. However, this engineering dullness hinders the state-of-art technologies! New S-Class, including the S63 AMG, is capable of driving by itself the only thing prevents for doing this is the regulations. And also, new S-Class can detect cross traffic, people jumping to street, cyclist, also potential rear-end crash, front end crash, cross wind. And if you are lazy to press brake, the new S-Class stops itself in many conditions to prevent an accident to occur. In addition, the digital cameras scan the road condition and adjust the suspension to eliminate any imperfection on the road and you feel nothing inside the cabin. Rear seats can turn into partial beds and offers hot stone massage around the four seats. And also new S-Class offers wide range of engine to capture a huge market share and that’ s a very good decision and I always support it. However, this business model destroys the exclusiveness of a Bentley.

Mercedes S63 AMG 4MATIC is powered by 5.5-lt V8 with 585 HP and 900 Nm of torque. 7-speed automatic transmission is offered but it will be replaced by a 9-speed automatic soon. Only needs 4 seconds to reach 100 km/h and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

Bentley Flying Spur is the four-door version of Continental GT but it is brand new car. Unlike new S-Class, Flying Spur is unseen when it is parked in the middle of the road. Because, the lines of Flying Spur reflects the peace inside the cabin. Flying Spur is car that harmonised the British craftsmanship with German engineering. The result is state-of-art comfort during the travel, extremely precise interior. Every bit inside the cabin is beautifully designed and crafted. Unlike new S-Class, you will not see any relatively low quality plastic! Flying Spur’s interior is like an iPhone, everything fits perfectly with each other. Engineering part gives the best of the W12 and four-wheel drive system. However, Bentley Flying Spur cannot detect cross traffic or pre-sense rear-end crash. These technologies are exclusive to Mercedes, if you want to have a car that has more safety systems than an airplane, go for the S-Class. But if you wish to travel in comfort, elegance and exclusivity always go for Bentley. Flying Spur offers seat ventilation, heating, massage and other things as standard. The option list is the interesting colour that you wish your Flying Spur to be painted.

Bentley Flying Spur is powered by a 6-lt W12 engine with 625 HP with 800 Nm of torque. And coupled with 8-speed automatic gearbox. Only 4.3 seconds to reach 100 km/h and 320 km/h is the top speed.

My personal opinion, Bentley Flying Spur is the better choice for long journey and moving away from the S-Class community. However, when you move away from the S-Class, you move away from the state-of-art safety systems. But you will end up with plastic interior parts, which destroys the harmony.

Bentley Continental GTC V8 for summer 2013. Nowadays are the hottest days of the summer and nothing can be better to feel the warm air while driving. That’s why I am writing this post! If you are planning to buy a cabrio or convertible car for this summer, I have a great suggestion, Bentley Continental GTC V8.

This car is waiting for you at HR Owen Mayfair dealer in London. Dark grey exterior coupled with amazing red interior leather! Don’t worry Continental GTC V8 is fast enough, 4-lt V8 engine produces 500 HP, 660 Nm of torque, 8-speed automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive and only needs 5 seconds to reach 100 km/h. These figures are more than enough to enjoy the hot summer of 2013 :)

Why Mercedes-Benz needs Aston Martin? | The Future of Aston Martin

Why Mercedes-Benz needs Aston Martin? I would like to keep this article short and simple. Mercedes-Benz has been trying to gather a market in ultra luxury segment for more than a decade, started with the reboot of the Maybach brand. Mercedes-Benz tried their best to create an ultra luxury brand with the Maybach but due to using same structure with the W220 S-Class and lack of adequate sophistication, Maybach could not keep with Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

What I mean by sophistication? Basically, Maybach never offered the same hand built car experience like Bentley or Rolls Royce. The amount of plastic used in interior and exterior were beyond the acceptable level. And the huge resemblance with the S-Class W220 completed the picture.

Now, Volkswagen Group owns Bentley and Bugatti. BMW owns Rolls Royce and Mini. And Mercedes-Benz or Daimler Group own literally nothing in ultra luxury market. There is no brand under the Daimler Group or Mercedes-Benz to compete with Bentley, Rolls Royce or Bugatti. And Mercedes-Benz knows that their product range is not capable of running at the same pace with the iconic hand built British automotive icons.

And there is one option is left! Buying the Aston Martin. This sounds too rough! And also hinders many potential problems. Instead of that Mercedes-Benz is going to develop the relationship through engine manufacturing and automotive technology sharing. Because, Aston Martin purchases the V8 and V12 engines from the Ford and Aston Martin doesn’t have enough money to develop sophisticated automotive technologies. On the other hand, Mercedes-Benz burns more than €1-billion to R&D and have a lot technologies that are years above their competitors. But it is still Mercedes-Benz.

Harmonising the technology of Mercedes-Benz with the soul of the Aston Martin will reveal a very strong competitor to Bentley and Rolls Royce.

Bentley Continental GT V8 vs W12 | #PinItForwardUK

Bentley Continental GT V8 vs W12. The extreme comparison of the Bentley Continental GT family for the Pinterest UK launch campaign, #PinItForwardUK! Continental GT V8 is the slowest Bentley Continental GT you can buy at the moment. And you can distinguish the V8 model by the red Bentley logo. For some people, buying a V8 Continental GT is not a very good way of expressing their selves. Because, it is the cheapest model.

However, does the cheapest Bentley Continental GT V8 really that cheap? Actually, No! If anyone tells you that V8 is not that good, this means that person has a sense of interpreting the technological numbers of automotive and also has a sense of luxury. The only thing that person may own is the money! Continental GT V8 is powered by a state-of-art 4-lt petrol engine with 507 HP and 660 Nm of torque. The 4-lt engine represents the Bentley’s commitment to more fuel-efficient engines! Continental GT V8 only needs 4.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h and the top speed is 303 km/h. If these figures are not satisfying you, you life is really boring from this perspective. My personal opinion, I wouldn’t be bothered to buy a V8 Bentley. End of the day, it is Bentley craftsmanship. Very powerful and you cannot feel the performance difference that easily through the daily life driving conditions.

Bentley Continental GT Speed is powered by a 6-lt W12 engine with 625 HP and 800 Nm of torque. It is really really fast! GT Speed only needs 4.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h and to satisfy the Speed, the top speed is 330 km/h. These figures are extremely impressive and force you to buy a W12 GT Speed instead of V8. My personal opinion, of course GT Speed is better. I cannot deny this fact and I would love to have one, if I was living in place where it is legal to achieve 330 km/h! The acceleration gap of GT V8 and GT Speed is only 0.6 seconds and probably very hard to feel. However, the feeling of driving a W12 engine is the main motivation to go for a GT Speed!

Where I found these two state-of-art Bentley in London? In HR Owen Bentley dealer! I think they are already gone but if you are lucky, you may see them.

Recently, Dubai Police revealed their new high speed chasing fleet cars on their Twitter account. Thus, the Dubai Police now owns the fastest police fleet in the world. If you are intending to break any traffic rule in Dubai, keep in mind these cars are really really fast!

I assume the next stage of this fleet will be adding the new jet fighter F35!

Purple Bentley Continental GTC in HR Owen (Jack Barclay), London

Purple Bentley Continental GTC (Convertible) in purple at HR Owen, London! The purple colour may look great on clothes, coats and some cases with shoes, however a purple car is something that you cannot see everyday life. There are some reasons for that, firstly car manufacturers do not offer purple and you cannot prefer this colour. Secondly, some cars were offered in purple but it wasn’t the perfect choice for second value and the quality of the paint was not that good.

However, when the case is Bentley the rules of the game are different. Bentley clients are not extremely sensitive second hand value. Thus, those people are not bothered with the colour of their car by the second hand value. This segment is focused on bespoke vehicle, not mass production!

So, the purple Bentley Continental GTC offers the perfect uniqueness during the summer time. Despite the fact that, it is really hard to drive a car topless in UK but many people love to buy open top cars, just to enjoy the few days of sunshine in whole year.

My person opinion about this purple Bentley, it does look good! I am serious on this, purple colour does not look that shinny or disturbing, the tone of the colour so well defined.  And also that’s a Bentley Continental GTC V8! 4-lt V8 twin-turbo petrol engine with 507 HP and 660 Nm of torque and the engine is coupled with 8-speed automatic gearbox, which is capable of jumping gears up and down beyond your imagination. GTC V8 only needs 5 seconds to reach 100 km/h and top speed is not! It is 301 km/h. I really don’t know why it is 301 km/h instead of 300 km/h.

Luxury Holiday in Lake Garda: Villa Feltrinelli

Villa Feltrinelli is a hotel placed in north of Italy and next to Lake Garda. It is a great destination to have a holiday and experience your GT car such as; Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari FF or Bugatti Veyron. If you have Aston Martin or a diesel Mercedes S-Class, they will be welcome as well.

Villa Feltrinelli was opened to business on 1892 and its designed was inspired by neo-gothic. It was built by the Feltrinelli family and during the 1990s was acquired by the Bob Burns and since 2001, it serves as a world-class hotel.

Villa Feltrinelli offers 21 rooms with each of them features antique furniture and just a few steps away the Lake Garda. Vacations next to Italian lakes were well known by elite people around the world until George Clooney promoted the Lake Como and they became popular.

The price of staying in Villa Feltrinelli is not over expensive but also not that reasonable. If you can afford to drive to Lake Garda with your GT car, the pricing will not a be problem for you.

What Car Katerina Stikoudi Drives?

Katerina Stikoudi, my favourite singer from Greece! Now I know what car she drive :)

I know I did not write about her for very long time. Actually, I should have written. Because, posts with Stikoudi makes a lot of traffic! You cannot even imagine. Stikoudi is a sensation and I hope to some videos of her on YouTube channel something like Kate Upton’s Cat Daddy video :)

Let’s go back to Katerina Stikoudi’s car. After a very long and comprehensive research I finally found out her car. Fortunately, Stikoudi doesn’t drive a pink Range Rover or a Bentley Continental GT again in pink. Actually, I really don’t like to see pink Bentleys or Range Rovers, they looks quite awkward.

Anyway, Katerina Stikoudi drives a BMW Z4 Roadster. I can hear your thoughts, BMW Z4 is not something extreme, however Z4 does still drive really nice and feels connected with the road. I think in 2006, I drove a 3-lt BMW Z4 and it was really really good for its price range and quite fun to drive. Of course, we live in 2013 and things have changed. Despite the passing years, BMW Z4 Roadster does not look that old.

Despite my all efforts, I couldn’t identify the exact age of Stikoudi’s Z4 but I am sure that it is pre-2009. You can see that air condition knob at the lower right end of the photo and that style belongs to Z4 Roadster before 2009. In 2009, the air condition elements received a new fresh design.

Actually, I am expecting to see Katerina Stikoudi in a Range Rover Evoque. In my opinion, she will definitely fit perfect with the Evoque. My personal opinion for Evoque is still the same, excellent car drive but still Evoque is the most expensive hand bag you can ever buy :) However, this does not prevent Stikoudi to buy one ;)

Also, her nails look stunning as well. I talked too much about the car but nothing about her nail :)
