Brabus C Coupe

When you find the Bugatti Veyron over powered plus too expensive and, the new Ferrari F12berlinatta is not powerful enough for you. There is a solution to your dissatisfaction by Brabus. Brabus is an independent German company, which modifies the Mercedes-Benz cars. Actually, they turn Mercedes-Benz cars into monsters, this could be the best definition for the Brabus. Putting so much power and torque into a car that is supposed to be über comfortable is not a modification!
According to mercedes-benz-passion.com, Brabus will reveal Brabus Bullit Coupe at Geneva Motorshow. It will be based on the current C Coupe model and powered by a 6,3lt V12 engine with two turbo and producing 800PS plus 1420nm of torque. In order to keep the gearbox in one piece and not to place a gearbox from a truck, they limited the torque level to 1100nm. This remote control sized car with V12 can accelerate to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3,7 seconds and can keep going up to 370 kph (230 mph). Unfortunately, 100 kph acceleration is not that satisfying and it is due to huge amount of torque and being rear wheel driven.
In order to drive this car you need to sacrifice €500,000. I didn’t convert into other currencies, it is expensive at any currency on planet!

Mercedes iPad Magazine: C Coupe in Istanbul

Mercedes recently revealed a new car called C Class Coupe, which replaces the Sportcoupe. And honestly, I really liked it! During the PR campaign, Mercedes took a small footage for C Coupe in Istanbul, Turkey around couple of months ago. And it appeared on Mercedes Benz TV, also on their social networks.
A few minutes ago, I was reading the Mercedes’s iPad magazine and C Coupe was there! Mercedes placed the footage from Istanbul but with a mistake! They wrote something under the video that is not correct at all. “With the C Class Coupe through Turkish capital”. Unfortunately, Istanbul is not the capital of Turkey, Ankara is the capital city! Probably, the agency missed this information.
Still very nice magazine to read and helps to strength your existing emotional bond with das Mercedes.

Mercedes C Coupe

On Tuesday, I went to London to see the Motor Expo show in Canary Wharf. I was planning to look at Lexus LFA and some Jaguars, not Mercedes at all.
The Mercedes stand had nothing really interesting except SLS AMG, which I don’t like at all. However, I saw the new C Coupe but I cannot say I noticed it at the first time. Unfortunately, it looks similar to E Coupe and I did not pay attention. And I found myself accidently inside the new C coupe! This car replaces the Sportcoupe which was a disaster!
Actually, Mercedes knew the problem and they intended to reveal a better model, but it didn’t work. This new one is improved so much, I found no reason to buy an E coupe. Really, new C coupe has everything! Safety technologies; distronic plus, bas plus, many airbags, don’t sleep function, blind spot system, keep your lane system and many more. All these technologies are available in E coupe too!
In addition to all these, it looks really great and similar to E coupe. I know, E coupe might more legroom in the rear seats but it would be any couple of centimetres extra. Planning to buy a Mercedes coupe? Go and buy C coupe! Meanwhile, E coupe is based on C class also ;)
