Rachel Vosper Belgravia Candles

Rachel Vosper Belgravia is the name of a candle shop in Knightsbridge, London. I was expecting to see many candles in a nice Knightsbridge store, but instead it has something that makes the Rachel Vosper store really unique. The candles are produced inside the store.

When I entered the store, I saw the workshop area and thought it is for press days or events. However, I was told that candles are produced on the premises! And that was something really exciting! I never had a strong liking for candles, but I always wondered how they were made, and my thought was that it was done inside a massive factory.

However, the story was totally different with this brand. By entering the store, I experienced the manufacturing process with regard to candles, and learned the secret of candle making. The process of making candles is not an easy one. There are lots of processes and you need to take each part seriously for the best result. Each step happens in front you at the Knightsbridge store. Don’t worry, this conversation won’t end up with a discussion of the six sigma manufacturing process. You would never expect to find a candle workshop in the middle of Knightsbridge which is famous for a lavish lifestyle and expensive brands. But the narrow roads of Knightsbridge expand into a totally different world.
So what happened after this experience? I really liked to have something made in front me and to see craftsmanship in action. It was something similar to experiencing the Rolls-Royce bespoke atelier. You see the raw material on one side and you see the end product next to it. You can see that candles are not only made for illuminating nights in which the electric is off! And lastly, they have the freshest candles in London!

In the end, in less then half an hour, the Rachel Vosper store changed my perception of candles.

Ferrari FF at Knightsbridge London | HR Owen

Ferrari FF from Knightsbridge, London. Actually that’s the expected habitat of the all-wheel drive Ferrari. However, I didn’t spot the Ferrari FF on the street, instead, it was at HR Owen Knightsbridge dealer. Personally, I really like the Ferrari FF, even though it is a bit ugly but the technology lying under the bonnet for the all-wheel drive system turns the ugliness into a charm!

Also, Ferrari FF is quite functional car! A proper boot, all-wheel drive, four seats and it is not a poser’s Ferrari!

Ferrari FF is powered by a 6,2-lt V12 engine with 660 HP and 683 nm. The top speed of FF is 335 km/h and only needs 3.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h! And the engine is coupled with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox with pedals behind the steering-wheel!

Ferrari FF offers a very distinctive and a unique driving experience, which you cannot find very easily on a sports car!

Bugatti Veyron vs. McLaren P1 in Knightsbridge (SW1) London

The ultimate comparison! Bugatti Veyron (1200 HP) vs. McLaren P1! Who is the winner? Actually, none of them is the winner, because they were not moving to anywhere. I took these photos in Knightsbridge, London. In terms of postcode, SW1! SW1 means, I am very very very rich but you are not! In London, postcodes rules!
Actually, it was an epic and unique moment in London. I had the chance to see two super cars, Bugatti Veyron with 1200 HP and McLaren P1 with 903 HP. Okay, Bugatti has more horsepower but McLaren is really light 1.3-tonne only!
I really love both of these cars and had to sit inside. The excitement of sitting inside a car like this, literally you are sitting inside more than one-million euro. Really unique feeling but don’t try with real money.
And my favourite is McLaren P1, because my friend designed it. Frank Stephenson. And P1 is not available anymore and very few Bugattis are left!
By the way, the Mercedes S500 was really a high spec model but wrong time and wrong place, sorry Mercedes :(
