End of Autosport International 2016 | High Heels In The Air!

Few minutes ago Autosport International 2016 finished at NEC Birmingham. This year was my fifth year at the Autosport International, so I decided to give a sneak preview of what happens when the show ends on Sunday night (High heels in the air)!

Standing (Walking + Running) on the stiletto heels for four days end up like this. Despite the long hour, glamour never ends!

Model? Lauren Ritchie. Heels? Kurt Geiger 6-inch heeled peep toes.

Kurt Geiger Made In Italy Collection

Kurt Geiger, Made In Italy. This sounds a bit crazy and unusual. Kurt Geiger is a well-established British footwear brand (Sorry for the technical definition) and you would be expecting their shoes to be produced in UK. I think most of them are! However, Kurt Geiger recently revealed a new series of women shoes that are made in Italy.
Why made in Italy? Italian manufacturing for automotive is not well-known for reliability but, they are really good making shoes! Nearly all luxury shoe brands are manufactured in Italy. So Kurt Geiger does.
What is the benefit? First of all Kurt Geiger charges you with a premium price but when you compare with the other premium shoe brands, £295 is not that much! And here some of them Made In Italy Kurt Geiger shoes but the collection is only limited with women
Did Made In Italy change my perception to Kurt Geiger? Yes!

Belgravia £250

Michelin Bibendum and High Heeled Women Shoes !?!

Today I was looking for the Bibendum on Google Image Search. You just type Bibendum and click to Images on bar top of the screen and it shows you the photos or pictures related with that keyword. Guess what happened? The shoes manufacturer Kurt Geiger released new shoes called Bibendum!

I was really shocked! Bibendum is a trademark of Michelin Tyres. And it is one of the well-known symbols. And I thought, may be Bibendum means something else and I did some research. The result? Nothing! It is the name of Michelin Man and it was introduced in 1894! Quite earlier than the Kurt Geiger shoes!
Honestly, I would not recommend ladies to buy these shoes. Because, Bibendum is associated with fat man inflated with air and represents a tyre brand. When I see a lady wearing these shoes, I would remember the fat inflated guy, sorry!
As you can see, branding is very critical. One mistake may alter the perception from sexy to faty! I really wish to hear from Kurt Geiger and Michelin about this naming incident :) Interestingly, shoes are made from leather, no rubber at all!

If you still wish to buy, here are the links:

Pink Fiat 500 with Pink Driving Shoes

Since I saw the pink driving shoes in GQ Magazine by Kurt Geiger, I started to wonder which car fits best with those shoes. And I mentioned this problem in my previous post! Unfortunately, there are not many cars which are offering pink as an optional colour.
Fiat 500 is one of my favourite cars; I really like it driving character, its design, practicality and good price. And now this car has a mutual interest with Kurt Geiger’s pink driving shoes! Finally today I read that Fiat 500 is offering limited edition of Pink colour! That’s very cool, I finally found a car which is fitting with pink driving shoes :) Unfortunately, it is limitied edition and you can only order from internet!
Unlike other limited editions, Fiat is offering this 500 with a reasonable price which allows many people to afford but only very limited will have the chance to drive it! Eventually; pink driving shoes are available with pink Fiat 500, have fun :)

Driving Shoes in Pink, recommended by GQ

There are plenty of different types of driving shoes on market. And they have typical style and typical colours which are not shocking! Now there is something different from Kurt Geiger’s Florio shoes and listed as 27. Best Thing in the World by GQ Magazine. And probably lots of people will rush into those shoes. But there is a small problem, their colours. It is starting from blue, brown, grey, navy, orange, pink, purple, red, yellow. Yes, they offer pink and puprle driving shoes!
The scenary will be very interesting, someone is coming out from Mercedes CL65 AMG which has lots of power to move the world and the driver has pink shoes by Kurt Geiger!
They should recommend the colours with cars. Pink for Nissan Micra drivers, Yellow for Yellow Ferrari owners ;)
