Aston Martin Cygnet for #PinItForwardUK

Aston Martin Cygnet, as known as the small Aston Martin or Aston Martin based on Toyota iQ. Whatever you call Cygnet, it is sold in Aston Martin dealers with a reasonable price tag. I barely had chance to see a Cygnet, since it was revealed. The main reason for this, Cygnet is an expensive small Aston Martin based on a Toyota, and people want to own a proper Aston Martin.

Despite all the negative reviews and opinions on Cygnet, I still like Cygnet. However, it is only in terms of design. Aston Martin managed to transfer its design culture to this small vehicle. And when you see the Cygnet, you easily understand it is an Aston Martin. This is the same for interior as well. Cygnet’s interior is full of leather and stiches, which is quite rare to spot inside a small Toyota. Even though some of the parts are the same Toyota, you still feel the Aston Martin design culture.

I still consider Aston Martin Cygnet under the fashion item or luxury handbag. Its design and price to functionality resemble with the expensive handbags.

Aston Martin Cygnet is powered by a 1.3-lt petrol engine with 98 HP and 125 Nm of torque. It is coupled with a CVT automatic gearbox. Cygnet needs 11.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h with the top speed of 170 km/h.

Bentley Continental GT V8 vs W12 | #PinItForwardUK

Bentley Continental GT V8 vs W12. The extreme comparison of the Bentley Continental GT family for the Pinterest UK launch campaign, #PinItForwardUK! Continental GT V8 is the slowest Bentley Continental GT you can buy at the moment. And you can distinguish the V8 model by the red Bentley logo. For some people, buying a V8 Continental GT is not a very good way of expressing their selves. Because, it is the cheapest model.

However, does the cheapest Bentley Continental GT V8 really that cheap? Actually, No! If anyone tells you that V8 is not that good, this means that person has a sense of interpreting the technological numbers of automotive and also has a sense of luxury. The only thing that person may own is the money! Continental GT V8 is powered by a state-of-art 4-lt petrol engine with 507 HP and 660 Nm of torque. The 4-lt engine represents the Bentley’s commitment to more fuel-efficient engines! Continental GT V8 only needs 4.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h and the top speed is 303 km/h. If these figures are not satisfying you, you life is really boring from this perspective. My personal opinion, I wouldn’t be bothered to buy a V8 Bentley. End of the day, it is Bentley craftsmanship. Very powerful and you cannot feel the performance difference that easily through the daily life driving conditions.

Bentley Continental GT Speed is powered by a 6-lt W12 engine with 625 HP and 800 Nm of torque. It is really really fast! GT Speed only needs 4.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h and to satisfy the Speed, the top speed is 330 km/h. These figures are extremely impressive and force you to buy a W12 GT Speed instead of V8. My personal opinion, of course GT Speed is better. I cannot deny this fact and I would love to have one, if I was living in place where it is legal to achieve 330 km/h! The acceleration gap of GT V8 and GT Speed is only 0.6 seconds and probably very hard to feel. However, the feeling of driving a W12 engine is the main motivation to go for a GT Speed!

Where I found these two state-of-art Bentley in London? In HR Owen Bentley dealer! I think they are already gone but if you are lucky, you may see them.

New Aston Martin DB9 | #PinItForwardUK

New Aston Martin DB9! Actually, I cannot say it is a brand new DB9, it is a heavy facelift! Aston Martin revised the existing DB9. 6-lt V12 engine now produces 517 HP / 620 Nm, 0 – 100 acceleration is 4.6 seconds and 15 kg lighter. The revision on DB9 can be seen inside the car as well. The interior materials are improved, there are more matte aluminium, and more leather.

DB9 is still a very good GT car, the competitors are now stronger than ever but DB9 still has its own character. Aston Martin DB9 is a different taste, some people may like it and some people may not. But it doesn’t mean that DB9 is a bad car, it is only different.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport for #PinItForwardUK

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is probably the most powerful mass production open top car on this planet, and I took photos of this Veyron specially for #PinItForwardUK. Grand Sport is relatively slower than the Super Sport but still the 8-lt W16 engine develops 1001 HP, which is good enough to shake your internal ear and lost your sense of direction.

As the weather is getting warmer, for some people open top (convertible) cars become more vital than anything else. And they need something really fast! When you think about speed and uniqueness, there is nothing better than the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport.

If you are lucky, this Bugatti still available at HR Owen in London. But it may have been sold as well!

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is powered by an 8-lt W16 quad-turbo engine with 1001 HP and 1250 Nm of torque. Veyron needs less than 2.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h and only 2.3 seconds to stop from 100 km/h to standstill. The top speed is 407 km/h and if you are crazy enough you can stop Veyron from its top speed to stand still in less than 10 seconds. Probably your internal organ will change their places, so don’t try it! And Veyron needs 41.9lt/100 km petrol when you are driving in city.

Ferrari F12 berlinetta in London | Special Photos for #PinItForwardUK

Ferrari F12 berlinetta, the replacement of iconic 599. F12 is probably the first car with a bridge or a hole. I directly to jumped to this section, because it is unique and unusual to spot in any others vehicles. Ferrari F12 has an aerodynamic bridge to increase down force for better performance. More down force means better handling at higher speeds, objects have a tendency to lift off as they speed more! To avoid this, you need to increase down force aerodynamic tricks and this bridge on the F12 is the latest solution.

(Actually, these photos were taken specially for the Pinterest’s UK launch campaign #PinItForwardUK.)

I spotted this Ferrari F12 at HR Owen, London dealer. I was very lucky because their Ferrari circulation is higher than iPhone circulation at an Apple Store.

Ferrari F12 resembles to Ferrari FF from the front end but that’s all. F12 is a brand new vehicle with brand new technologies. Such as the air duck that opens when the brakes got hot too much. Cleaver Formula 1 technologies, 6.3-lt V12 engine with 730 HP and 690 Nm of torque. Brand new a 7-speed double clutch super fast automatic transmission. Also, lighter! New Ferrari F12 weighs no more than a 1,5-tonne. F12 only needs 3,1 seconds reach 100 km/h and top speed is over 340 km/h.

And offers the most complicated steering wheel on this planet. Ferrari F12 has the manetinno switch and nearly one hundred buttons more on the steering wheel! The individual suspension button on the steering wheel of F12 is for making the car drive softer at any manettino settings. I am definitely sure, if the steering wheel of Ferrari F12 breaks down, it will cost more than a small hatchback. And lastly, I loved the Formula 1 inspired rear fog light!

Pinterest UK Launch Campaign: #PinItForwardUK

Pinterest, one of the most popular and influential visual social networking site. Pinterest is a virtual pin board, you pin photos or videos to your different boards and share with other people. I have been using the Pinterest for nearly two years. When I first heard about Pinterest, people were saying it is a women biased site, and why do you pin cars photos. When you first visit the page during 2011, you notice the large amount of wedding based content. However as the time passed and people like me kept pinning different various content to Pinterest, the demographics of the Pinterest also changed.

Now, you can search any type of image on Pinterest and you will find really really good content. Unlike other visual search engines, the content at Pinterest is high quality and there is junk or advertisement obsessed users. People like me pinning photos of everything.

Recently, Pinterest decided to extend their launch campaign to UK and I was invited to take a part during this campaign. I attended an event in London and met with the team of Pinterest. Honestly, they are passionate for Pinterest were really friendly. So, this motivated me more to take a part at #PinItForwardUK campaign.

If you haven’t registered for Pinterest, this is the right time. Just click here to register and start checking my Cars board. You can see all my photos under the Cars boards and many more things. And don’t limit yourself with my content, check the other bloggers as well.
