The Clothes Show Live from Olympus Pen | #olympusPENgeneration

The Clothes Show Live from Olympus Pen camera. Few days ago, I attended to The Clothes Show Live 2014. I wasn’t there as a blogger, just a visitor. While I was going around the venue area, I saw the Olympus stand with their mirror-less digital camera, Pen. And they were very kind to lend me one for one-hour and take some photos.
The Olympus Pen is a really good camera. You have the all DSLR function and you don’t need to bear the weight of a DSLR. Of course, DSLRs are easier to use thanks to their buttons and knobs but they are bulky. Olympus Pen also offers changeable lens and like in a DSLR, you can replace your lens with different selections.
Here are the results from the Olympus Pen Generation.

Venti Bentley

Last week my friend Laurence mentioned something in Costa Coffee. The stupidness of sizing your coffee! Every time you have identify the size your coffee or tea; small, medium, large and sometime it is quite pointless. I don’t like it either, because a tea is a tea. The size the same in everywhere, and for coffee also! The size of cappuccino is very clear, you don’t have to express you MBA degree ego to coffee. How I know this, I have MBA also. Based on our training, sorry education every product can be expand in order to increase profit with stupid names. Tall, Grande, Venti! I know each of these names express a capacity but nobody knows it, people are trying to learn them because it sound cool! And this is the side effects of iPod generation.
Unfortunately this MBA obsessed branding strategy virus split to Bentley also. Their “new” vehicle Continental family have different types. The cheapest one with no special name, it means you don’t want something very sporty, you don’t have many horse powers, you don’t want accurate steering wheel or you cannot afford to buy the more expensive one. The second choice is called Speed model, it has 610 horse power (normal one has 555 horse power), it is more sporty, very fast, comfortable, communicative steering wheel and more expensive. And last one is the SuperSports, that is a lunatic car with 630 horse power and can achieve 329 kph (204 mph) without any problem. Actually I don’t know why it is not capable of doing 330 kph! This car is very fast, very sporty, seats are a bit uncomfortable, very fast, has a very sexy bonnet, very fast. And also very expensive!
So I really wonder, why someone wants to buy a slow Bentley? It is against its DNAs of Bentley. Hey, I have a slow Bentley! This does not sound well :( As I mentioned everything has changed now, coffee is being sold with weird sizes, everything has a category, group or something else. Actually this is the iPod era! And I don’t like it. I just want to see a lunatic Bentley with exquisite comfort at the same time.

Carbon free petrol

Whenever I visit Starbucks, I notice the people who order coffee without caffeine, it is called decaf. Sounds weird a bit! But I don’t understand one point, why do you drink coffee? It is mostly taste bitter, helps you to wake up faster, it smells and etc. When you order decaf coffee, you are eliminating the main characteristics or features of coffee and you end up with something similar to coffee.

This is like buying petrol without carbon inside. Carbon is the main thing inside petrol which makes the ignition. And without carbon, petrol will be useless! Like a decaf coffee. From this point of view; people who likes decaf coffee can also like carbon free petrol :) But their car will not go anywhere. Their decaf coffee will not help to wake them up and they won’t notice the difference :)

Porsche 911 Coffee

Porsche 911 is my one of the most favourite car for all time. As it has been produced for forty seven years, it can be considered as the best sports car on market. Forty seven years of experiences of producing the same car is something which cannot be achieved very easily and cannot be found in any other sports car!
Since 1963; as the 911 developed and evolved, marketing also evolved and 911 is influenced by new trends. When it was first revealed on market, there were not many 911 range. And now there are sixteen different 911s including cabrios models. From 911 Carrera to 911 GT3 RS, there is always a 911 for you. That’s good, because 911 has the ability to offer different driving characteristics for different drivers. But, choosing the right 911 is like choosing the right coffee in Starbucks. There are lots of choices but you cannot prefer one!
Should I buy 911 Turbo? No, 911 Carrera 4S is cheaper. No, 911 Targa 4S looks better. No, 911 GT2 is superb car. And in the end, you cannot choose what to buy. Like in Starbucks; you just want to drink a coffee and they offer you millions of options to confuse you!
And the S models are just for confusing people. There is small price and power different between each other and it could drive you crazy, which one to buy :)
In both cases, you neither buy a pure 911 nor pure coffee! Welcome to world of marketing :)
My all time decision is 911 Turbo ;) It has everything; power, handling, comfort, design and coffee holder.
