The New BMW X6 and X6 M50d

New BMW X6 is finally revealed. The first generation BMW X6 was a sensation, it was out of this world. A massive SUV with only seats to offer accommodation and drives like a go-kart. Despite the criticisms against the X6’s unusual design and some of the drawbacks, it managed create a new segment in automotive industry and competitors are getting ready to follow.

BMW X6 offers the same safety and driving features like X5 and the same interior. However, the new X6 looks better than the X5! The engine range is the same as well, xDrive30d 3-lt TwinTurbo diesel offers 258 HP and 530 NM of torque, M50d offer 3-lt three turbo diesel with 381 HP and 740 NM of torque. xDrive50i is 4.4-lt TwinTurbo petrol engine with 450 HP and 650 NM of torque.

The sDrive35i, xDrive35i and xDrive 40d will be available in 2015. Also the new X6 is 40kg lighter than the first generation. I think we will see more X6 than the X5!

New BMW X6 Photos

New BMW X6 photos were leaked or we assumed they were leaked and they are the originals. Anyway, here are the photos of the next generation (2nd) of X6. The front looks exactly the same as X5, and surprisingly the interior is the same with X5. Why? Because, it is called economies of scale. It is more reasonable (cheaper) to use the same interior on different vehicles (Ferrari does the same). 
And it will be offering the same technologies and engine with the X5. May be some unique features can be seen on X6 to differentiate it from the X5. So, Range Rover Sport brace yourself, X6 is coming!

New BMW X4

BMW X4 photos were released a few days ago. X4 is the small version of BMW X6. X represents the four-wheel drive SUV design and 4 represents the coupe! X4 is not coupe but the even numbers now associated with the cars that have sportive character. From now on, BMW 4-Series Coupe will replace 3-Series Coupe and X4 is the SUV interpretation of the 4-Series Coupe. Sounds complicated but look sexy!
BMW X4 engine options are expected to be similar with the engine option from the 3-Series. And X4 also features new design items from the 4-Series Coupe. BMW X6 Tows a Snow Blower on a Mountain Video

BMW X6 tows a snow blower! This definitely sounds impossible, because BMW X6 is the most popular vehicle of urban people. There is nothing associated with X6 and off road, however BMW X6 offers the most sophisticated electronic traction control system, xDrive that offers very quick response system to avoid traction loss.
I know that xDrive is really rapid and useful but I never thought that, a BMW X6 was capable of towing a snow blower on a ski resort.
Video seems to be true and speaking voice emphasises this as well. However, some people may not think the same way I think, therefore I highly recommend BMW to upload a back stage video of this one. Believe me, it will work more!
The X6 on the video is the diesel model X6 xDrive40d: 3-lt diesel engine with 306 HP and 600 Nm of torque. And after this video, Jeremy Clarkson’s review on X6 sounds a bit wrong.

Goodwood Festival of Speed: BMW X6 M50d

Goodwood Festival of Speed featured the BMW’s most lunatic diesel engine, trio turbo 3-lt diesel that creates 381 PS of power and 740 Nm of torque. This lunatic engine was inside a BMW X6 and it was right hand drive.
I saw BMW X6 M50d model during February with partial camouflage but I didn’t have chance to take a picture. Now, here it is! This X6 M50d would definitely offer the best driving experience with its three turbos! 381 PS of power and 740 Nm of torque will make your day!

New Chapter for BMW X6

Great news from BMW, the three turbo powered diesel engine will be featuring at X6! The footage released by BMW hints, a new X6 variation from M. As the BMW is not going to reveal a new petrol engine, the turbo diesel is the only suspect for the X6! Even the engine noise from the footage supports this! Three turbo diesel will produce 381PS, it will be a very entertaining diesel SUV!
The new chapter slogan fits perfectly for a diesel M model ;)

What is this BMW X4?

I don’t want to talk too much about the BMW’s new vehicle X4. A brief description; X4 is the sportive version of X3, and smaller version of X6. BMW X3 is the small version of X5, we all know this; offers five seats, descent boots space.

However, there is a market gap for small version of X6. Because, X6 is too big and too expensive for some people and competitors may introduce an alternative before BMW does. In order to satisfy more customers and to create a new segment, BMW is going to introduce the small version of X6, which is called X4. 
BMW X4 is going to be a small version of X6 with same concept, 2+2 seating and sportive driving dynamics. From my experience from the new X3, the new X4 would definitely a great car and many people is going to be buy it.
From this branding strategy, I can assume that BMW uses even numbers for sportive model.
