Beltbag is the new safety feature from Mercedes. Beltbag is a seatbelt with airbag. Sounds a bit crazy but it is real!
Mercedes’s new feature Beltbag inflates multiple layers of the seatbelt and it expands up to three times. By this way, seatbelt reduces the risk of injury and improves the safety. Mercedes revealed this technology in 2009 with their safety concept vehicle ESF 2009. Now inflatable seatbelt will be available in new Mercedes S-Class. Another reason to buy a S-Class
