Car Mistake at The Wolf of Wall Street

I have just found a mistake at The Wolf of Wall Street movie, a car mistake. The movie started around the 1980s and we could easily understand this from the huge limos. 

However, at 4:27, a crack in the time occurs and a BMW 3-Series (E36) sedan appears. The problem with the BMW 3-Series E36 is, BMW E36 was revealed on 1990 and available in Europe around 1991 and available in US market around 1992. 

Basically, The Wolf of Wall Street missed this minor point and I don’t complain. That’s quite hard to distinguish exact times of the cars available at a very certain point. However, they should have hired a petrol head to avoid any car mistakes :)
