Montblanc’s latest Writers Edition is the Daniel Defoe. This unique limited edition pays tribute to Daniel Defoe, who wrote the famous novel Robinson Crusoe. His novel was published in 1719, and it is one of the most well-known novels of all time.
The Daniel Defoe edition is inspired by the wooden paddle that Crusoe relied on in vain to escape from the island. The resin captures the complex texture and colour of the wood. Consequently, Crusoe was not receiving 7-star hotel comfort when he was on the island. He was back to the basics! The Daniel Defoe writers edition represents the simplest living in the texture of the pen.
The event at the Montblanc’s New Bond street store was great. It was a really early morning, and the busy New Bond street was totally empty.
