Kate Upton is Back! Neiman Marcus Lockdown Stay-At-Home Styles Video

Yes, Kate Upton is back! Kind of. She has been away from the digital world and from advertisement space for a long time. She got married and had a kid. She likely had got a bit bored with the entertainment world as well. Anyway, she is back again with a Neiman Marcus campaign: What to wear at home during the lockdown.

Whilst the lockdown is easing a bit in some parts of the world, these tips are still worth a try. Don’t expect any fun content like old times.

Christian Louboutin Elisa Phone Pouch!

Christian Louboutin have done it again! The icon shoemaker recently revealed an avant-garde smartphone pouch that retails for £895, Elisa. It’s not even a case per se, just a pouch with a strap. This sounds entirely non-functional, but Louboutin is well-known for making products with a stylistic rather than functional bent. To be honest, Louboutin have actually moved towards functionality with their recent efforts. However, it is not easy to get rid of years of style-over-substance brand DNA, and this design reflects that.

If you are looking for a posh smartphone pouch, here it is!

In case you wish to buy the Elisa Phone Pouch!

How to Buy 160mm Christian Louboutin Heels?

More precisely, “What Happened to Christian Louboutin’s 160mm Heels?”

The Christian Louboutin brand is deeply associated with skyscraper heels in the fashion industry. When you look at the heritage of Louboutin, all its designs were pushing the boundaries of footwear; primarily making heels higher than ever before. This approach does not fit consistently with the Bauhaus design principle of ‘form follows function’. Instead, the form of a heel is more important than its function for Louboutin. Louboutin heels reached the height of 170mm a couple of years ago.

I know it is not a big thing, but Engineering In Heels captured my attention with one of her recent videos. She said you couldn’t get 150 or 160mm Louboutin heels anymore.

Surprised, I visited the Louboutin website and noticed that most of the product range is now around 100mm and lower. Shoe options with a 120mm heel height are limited, with only the So Kate and Pigalle range reaching this height, and there were very few 130, 140 and 150mm heels. Given that Louboutin was famous for outrageous heel height, I can imagine many Louboutin fans are not happy with this change in direction.

It is likely that two factors underpin this decision. Based on my experience working with shoe designers, very high heeled shoes do not sell in large quantities. People may love to see them, but they don’t wish to wear them, and this impacts the revenue of a business. As Louboutin is making more than half-a-million shoes per year, they need to consider customers’ taste. However, a well-renowned high heel brand choosing to make average height heels is a bit like making Ferraris more fuel-efficient. It fundamentally contradicts the brand’s heritage and DNA.

The second reason that may have resulted in reducing heel height may be that competitors are not making skyscraper heels anymore. Louboutin, therefore, may have elected to follow the trend to keep their revenue high and their shoes in demand.

Or has Mr Louboutin simply become bored with designing skyscraper heels?

What do you think?

How to Wear Red High Heels by Engineering In Heels 👠

As the world of emojis is becoming more and more ingrained in our daily lives, one – the red high heels emoji – has captured my attention. As I have had shoe designer clients in the past, I would like to focus on this emoji and give some examples of how to get the best from your red high heels in real life!

For this post, I took some inspiration from Engineering in Heels’ photo collection. She has two pairs of red high-heeled pumps; Jimmy Anouk 120mm and Brian Atwood 130mm heels. The Brian Atwood pumps are limited editions and are hard to find.

Here are some examples of how to get the most out of your red high heeled pumps! Let’s start with the measurement – it’s always a good idea to measure the height of your heels. What manufacturers and sellers claim on their website might be different from the actual height. If they’re taller, that’s a great deal!

You can wear red pumps when you’re upside-down next to a Christmas tree. You can wear them to load your VW Golf GTI on a winter’s day. You can combine them with a red coat. They’re ideal for cross-legged sitting. Admittedly it might not be a great idea to wear them in the rain. They’re excellent for climbing stairs. If you want, they can be subtle. Last but not least, just combine them with a casual outfit and walk around your home.

Vacuuming in Christian Louboutin 150mm Choca

Vacuuming is not the most tempting thing to do at home and it is quite boring. It is loud and you have to run after dust; however, you have to do it. So, I have recently discovered there is a way to turn the boring vacuuming into an exciting experience via Louboutin heels.

I have a great solution for this fundamental problem, get a pair of Christian Louboutin 150mm Choca heels. Luckily, EngineeringInHeels tried this recently with her 150mm Louboutins. From a logical perspective, you won’t be able to wear these red soles all the time and you may not wish to wear them outside. In fact, should you wish to wear them, here is a great opportunity. The boring vacuuming will become a posh experience and you won’t be bothered with the time frame of the task; because, you are wearing your favourite Louboutin heels.

In addition to this, the high heels leave less footprint on the floor and you don’t really have to wear Louboutins to go everywhere. You will be vacuuming with a pair of Louboutins that have clean soles and they won’t leave any more dust, as the toe section and the heel tip are the only parts to touch the ground.

To cut a long story short, if you wish to turn daily boring housework into something exciting, get a pair of 150mm Louboutin heels and wear them. You will lose all sense of time whilst enjoying your Louboutins.

Would You Buy a Tom Ford Soap?

The world of luxury can be interesting and, sometimes, provide moments of considerable humour. Tom Ford has created an opportunity for such hilarity. This is the moment where luxury becomes really interesting. Typically, if you would like to own a Tom Ford piece, you have to sacrifice a serious amount of money. Tom Ford has, however introduced a new product that can be purchased by anyone!

The entry level product from Tom Ford, is soap. Yes, you can buy Tom Ford soap for £27. There is no need to convert this value to other currencies, because it is ridiculously expensive in any currency, just for soap. Most probably, it is made by a company who already makes really affordable soap. The £27 price tag goes to the Tom Ford embossment.

Will people buy this product from Tom Ford? Of course they will; now there is a Tom Ford product for everyone. It will give people a chance to become part of the Tom Ford world and experience the luxury the name carries.

Would You Buy a Pair of Louis Vuitton Earphones?

Louis Vuitton recently joined the trend of high-end companies releasing headphones and, in the process, created a new benchmark of pricing! A single set of earphones for $995! Actually, you can buy a technically identical set of earphones for $299 from Master & Dynamics, you just won’t be able to show off the famous LV logo!

The earphones are made by Master & Dynamics for Louis Vuitton and feature the iconic LV logo. They also arrive in considerably nicer packaging. This does, however, drastically change the price, and the reality is that you are paying nearly $700 more just for a LV logo. I assume that your main aim is to show others that you’ve made it! Or you have no sense of money?

I am absolutely certain that we will see plenty of these earphones selling as soon as they are released. I do not anticipate that people will be bothered by paying an extra $700 just for a LV logo. The planet has, and always will have, plenty of consumers that are attracted by such unique products. Therefore, companies like Louis Vuitton will always be there to take advantage of them.

How to Walk with Heels in the Beach → Advice by Tamar Roxx

High heels in the desert sounds quite bizarre, but many of you have tried to walk on the desert/beach wearing your heels. This does sound very irrational behaviour. However, being stylish means that you have to be stylish in any terrain, even if it is a loose surface.

I have noticed whenever I cover high heels and the beach, people love to read about it and I assume that they are trying to get hints as to how to walk on the beach with their staggering stilettos heels. You might be asking why would people want to do this? It is because all their style is based on their heels, and those heels need to function well on the beach to maintain the coherency of their style.

So, I have found the solution. I have asked my friend Tamar Roxx (model, singer and artist) to give me some tips on how to walk in the desert with heels. Why her? She loves heels and performs in heels, and recently she did a photo shot with 6-inch (15 cm) Steve Madden heels in the middle of the desert, and I thought she would provide valuable information.

Here is her instructions when it comes to wearing heels on the beach.

“It’s almost impossible to wear heels 👠 in desert sand – I felt like Bambi on ice – I think my only strategy was walking with confidence and precision, but don’t expect clean heels by the end of it. I’m surprised I didn’t strike oil! A few assistants who didn’t mind helping me in and out of my high heels that day didn’t go amiss either! Try and centre yourself so you don’t lose balance and use the muscles in your core (stomach), legs and butt to try and keep upright!”

Long story short, you can walk on the desert or beach with heels, but you need to divert all your weight to the front of the heels. Sounds crazy but at the end of the day, you’ll be the only person who can achieve this.

Christian Louboutin Fetish Heels Collection + Instagram Photos

Christian Louboutin Fetish heels collection. If you came here to see ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’-style heels, bad luck – unfortunately Louboutin haven’t revealed fetish-friendly heels. However, they have recently introduced a new collection with the fetish in mind.

Fetish Peep collection has two sizes of heels, 150 mm and 130 mm. 130 mm doesn’t really look nice – I think the proportion of the platform and the heel are not really harmonious.

The unique selling point of this collection is that it offers super thin stiletto heels with great height! The Fetish Peep collection offer much thinner heels than the other Louboutin Peep collection.

The benefit? You will look cooler than before and you will have the latest collection!

I have also curated some photos from Instagram!

Christian Louboutin Moniquissima 150 mm Mules

Christian Louboutin Moniquissima 150 mm mules. Probably you will have noticed that mules have been back in fashion for the last couple of years. As you would expect, Louboutin has brought them back as well. The range of high-heeled Louboutin mules starts with flats and ends up with the 150 mm Moniquissima. If you are a hard-core fan of the brand, I assume you would go for the 150 mm and avoid the others. Keep in mind that the platform will help you handle the 150 mm stiletto heels!

Moniquissima may seem easy to slip on for everyday walks, but the silk upper accent tells a different story. Not all stiletto mules are created equal.

Here they are;
