Apple iCar: My Ten Predictions

Apple iCar, don’t get excited Apple did not release a car, yet! However, I was thinking what would happen if one day Apple will release a car. 
Interestingly carbuzz.co.uk thought the same they wrote about it, Apple iCar – 10 Things We’d Expect to See. I really love the article and wanted to add my ten ideas. 
First of all, iCar or Apple’s Car will have a totally different warranty system. Unlike the existing warranty system on automotive industry, Apple may replace the iCar if they cannot resolve the problem. 
Second, people will be rushing to Apple Stores to buy the iCar first and upload their photos on Instagram. 
Third, all apple fanatics will turn into car fanatics and comment on automotive industry. 
Fourth, iCar will feature new technology that was not preferred by the existing car companies and people will love those features. 
Fifth, don’t expect to see internal combustion engine system in the iCar, it will be like the BMW i-Series. 
Sixth, the internal parts of iCar will be fitted with extreme precision. 
Seventh, sales of iCar will be collapse a car company. 
Eighth, there will be educational discount in the iCar. 
Ninth, you will be able to order your iCar from internet with your credit card. 

Tenth and last, iCar will be variation like iPod from Nano to Touch.

I Want to Write A Product Review of Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia Lumia 920, the latest phone from the Nokia. We all know that Nokia suffered really bad in last couple of year due to iPhone and Android devices. Even though the Nokia was the first company to release smart phone in 2002 with Nokia 7650, they lost their market power in less than couple years. 
However, Lumia 920 changed this situation. According to many articles and what I heard from people. Lumia 920 is a really good smart phone and there is very high demand to it. Actually, the demand is so high that, I did not have chance to see one. And you can use the screen of Nokia Lumia 920 with your gloves :)
And I really want to write a product review about Nokia Lumia 920. However, I couldn’t find a contact on Nokia’s website. If it is possible, I would like to write about Nokia Lumia 920. Is it possible, Nokia?

How to Solve Instagram’s New Privacy Problem?

Instagram dilemma, world’s post popular image based social network is facing tough times due to its new privacy policy and terms. What I read on internet and what I interpret from the terms of Instagram, we will have something similar to Facebook advertisement on Instagram with our photos! Or somewhere else with our photos!

Three MiFi Mobile WiFi Hotspot: Product Review

Three Mobile WiFi, MiFi is a device that is mobile and offers wireless internet wherever you go. But that’s not a mobile phone. For many people it is a bit confusing. Mobile wireless internet and it is not mobile or USB dongle. It is called MiFi!

And why do you need mobile wireless gadget and from Three as well? If you are going around different cities and need to have an internet connection all the time, you would either pay to wireless hot spot all the time or use your mobile phone’s tethering or buy a mobile wireless internet.

I tried the first one, paying to hotspot and after the second time, I realised that I would definitely spend a lot of money on this. So, I tried the tethering with iPhone and it did not go quite good! Because, iPhone loves to dry out the battery and using tethering boosts this effect!

And I finally decided to buy a mobile wireless gadget! Unfortunately, they are not cheap like USB dongles. And I checked prices of the mobile operators and except Three, they were more or less the same. And I risked my chance and bought a Three MiFi device 18 months contract for £10.

Unfortunately, Three does not have a good reputation for signal reception. I heard complains about this. However, I avoided all the negative comments and bought one. And I was expecting to have a bad reception but things totally different.

Three MiFi had a very good reception whenever I used and I used in mainly between Birmingham and London. Especially many times inside the Virgin trains and it was working great despite being used in a train journey.

Also, I lost signal many times but at those places, the other operators did not have any signal as well. So, my experience with Three went quite well. But this device is not a mobile phone and designed only for internet, so I have no idea regarding to making calls with Three. However, their infrastructure is doing quite well with mobile internet.

I managed to achieved average of 1Mbit download and upload speed with Three MiFi. Docking station was also included in the package and it can be charged very easily with any USB cable. However, always fully charge the MiFi before you go out for a journey!

Montblanc finally released the case for the Apple’s latest phone, iPhone 5. I know many of you were waiting for this for quite long time. And now it is available on their online store in two different colours, grey and navy.

Montblanc iPhone 5 case is made from leather with Montblanc star placed in the front. And priced for £139 (€171 / $223). My experience with the iPhone 5, you really need a case to protect its sensitive anodised aluminium structure!
If you compare the price of Montblanc iPhone 5 case, it is not that expensive!

How to Remove iPhone 5 Scratches and Scuffs with Porsche Design Pen

iPhone 5 side scratches and Porsche Design pen. Probably the funniest title for the iPhone 5! But, you cannot imagine the intersection of these two different items on one thing.

As the iPhone 5 was revealed, the rumours and photos started to appear on internet due to vulnerability of sides and back for scratches and scuffs. iPhone 5 is made from anodised aluminium instead of stainless steel, which iPhone 4 and 4S is made from. Anodised aluminium made iPhone 5 lighter and also anodising process made the aluminium more resistant to scratches and scuffs.

Actually, we were told like this but the reality was different. Many people started to complain the scratches and scuffs started to appear on their new iPhone 5 in a very short time. And unfortunately, I am one of them as well. Hopefully, mine is not black iPhone 5 so I am better off with white. Because, the black iPhone 5 shows any minor scratches or scuffs more easily due to its painted colour. However, white iPhone 5 covers the minor things.

Anyway, a few weeks after I had my iPhone 5 I realised a minor scuff under the volume control buttons. And I was a bit disappointed to see this. Because, I had iPhone 4 for quite long time and there was nothing on the sides! As I don’t have any chance to repair this, I ignored it.

One day, I took my stainless steel Porsche Design P3120 (When I bought it, they told me it is made from stainless steel) and tried to remove excess aluminium from the scuff on iPhone 5’s side. While doing this, I realised that stainless steel Porsche Design pen removed the excess aluminium and also the scuff.

I am not joking, the sides of iPhone 5 is very soft. And it can be manipulated very easily with a harder material. So, I noticed the power of Porsche Design pen and kept correcting the scuff. It was so easy, in less than five minutes the scuff was removed also some layers of aluminium as well. I know this sound crazy but the material is so soft and it is very easy to correct any scratches or scuffs by removing layers. For sure, it doesn’t look that nice but better than an ugly scuff.

My final decision, if you are planning to buy an iPhone 5 go for the white one. I know black looks better but go for the white! If you don’t want to use a case or cover or any type of protector, your iPhone 5 more likely to have scratches or scuffs in meantime. And don’t worry, you may fix them by using a stainless steel object like my Porsche Design pen. And if you have some skills, you can engrave some patterns or your name very easily to sides of the iPhone 5.

So this is the solution to how to remove scratches and scuffs from iPhone 5 side :)

Apple knows this problem and declared that; aluminium has a tendency for scratches and scuffs. And my response to Apple, please get in touch with Audi as soon as possible, as they manufacture cars from Aluminium for quite long time and I am sure that you can buy some of their material technology to improve the iPhone’s structure.

Montblanc Augment Reality Campaign in Harrods, London: David Geffen Art Gallery

Montblanc, Harrods and Aurasma. Montblanc is one of the best writing instruments company and probably the most luxurious one. Many people recognise the Montblanc from its White Star logo located on the top of each Montblanc pen. 
Harrods is another iconic brand in luxury, or it is the birthplace of luxury department store. There is only one Harrods store in the world and it is the most iconic and remarkable one. Unlike other brands, Harrods did not extend store locations and kept itself unique. 
And Aurasma, probably you never heard of it! It is the augment reality application for iPhone, iPad and Android phones. It is founded in UK two years ago and became a milestone of augment reality world. It is a very simple application; you install the application on your mobile then found a photo that is identified by Aurasma application and just place your phone in front of the photo. The augment show starts!
It is very easy to use and you will see photo or application or video on your mobile.
Montblanc opened an Art Gallery (David Geffen) by Aurasma application. First of all, you need to go to Harrods and find the Montblanc display. To find Montblanc, you need walk and walk in front of Harrods and just before the building finishes, you will the virtual art gallery on your left side. 
Secondly, you need to start the Aurasma app in your mobile and place your camera towards square picture that looks like a QR code. And please be patient, due to heavy mobile internet traffic on that area, it may take some time to load the art gallery on your mobile. There are sixteen artwork of David Geffen.
After that, you will see the art gallery in your mobile, and you can go around the gallery by touching forward and backward buttons. 
But don’t forget this is an augment reality, when you move your phone somewhere else, you will stop seeing the gallery, you need to keep your phone at the same position during your visit to virtual gallery. Unfortunately, tomorrow is the last day :(
