BMW i3 Official Photos | Electric BMW

BMW i3 is finally revealed to public. i3 is powered by an electric engine with  170 HP / 250 Nm of torque. BMW i3 only needs 7.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h with the limited top speed of 150 km/h. This car, i3 is the first pure electric BMW and created a new path for the future of BMW. i3 not only opened a new path on electric powertrain, but also defined a new path in terms of using aluminium and carbon-fibre together in a platform. 
BMW i3 is powered electricity and many people will be concerned by the range. According to BMW, i3 is capable of travelling between 130 – 160 km and daily average we cover 64 km. i3 is designed for city driving, however if you opt for the range extender, you will be able to cover 300 km with the BMW i3. The range extender of BMW i3 is a 34 HP two-cylinder engine placed at the rear axle to provide 50:50 weight distribution. When you purchase the BMW i3 with the range extender, there is nothing different than a normal car. Range will not be an issue anymore.
In terms of design, BMW i3’s exterior is absurd, question mark, vague. I mean, i3 resembles with Mini Clubman. The rear doors have very funny window curves, rear of the i3 is weird, and also the curves at the front are absurd as well. But I love the Rolls Royce style rear-hinged door! Honestly, why did BMW made so many curves around the vehicle, what is the point! If they are for the aerodynamics, I have nothing to say. But if they are for beauty, I am not the right person to love BMW i3. I love, form equals function person, I really don’t like to see curves and parts that do not have any function at all.
Despite this absurd exterior, I really loved the interior of the BMW i3. BMW designer managed to integrate the high technology with the natural materials like wood and leather. Honestly, this cannot be achieved this beautifully before. I am speechless with the interior of the BMW i3. Interior of BMW i3 is my new benchmark!
Will I buy one? I would definitely buy a BMW i3. Because, it is way different than a traditional BMW and captures different type of consumers. i3 is the reflection of high-tech and automotive engagement with luxury touches. And it is unique. I really love the idea of using electric powertrain with a range extender. I mean for a small car, BMW i3 is the perfect choice. I would definitely buy one and moan everyday for its weird exterior design.
Price of BMW i3? Starts from €34,450 without range extender and with range extender €34,950. My opinion, go for the BMW i3 with range extender. It is not that expensive and it is only a two-cylinder engine. 
Okay, it is expenseive, you can buy better car, bla bla bla. Unfortunately, you are buying a brand new technology. Why don’t you say this the same words when you are going to replace your iPhone 5 with iPhone 5s ;)
Lastly, press event of the BMW i3 was disappointing. Automotive industry has to remove that extreme serious faces during the product launches. Just look at the Apple or Samsung, everyone smiles, no one wears black Armani or Hugo Boss suits. And bring exciting crowd like Apple does, there should be people who can show passion and tweet live! Otherwise, people will not watch it like Apple’s press events. Sorry to say this. Because, BMW i3 deserved better :(

And they work pretty well, I own an external battery supply for my previous iPhone 4 and present iPhone 5. 
You buy a mobile phone with a battery inside and you buy another battery again! Sounds a bit like a business loop but you don’t have any other chance than buying an external energy resource. I am using mophie brand and quite happy with it. I know mophie is more expensive than its competitors but when it comes to battery, you need to buy the best one. Because, external battery packs need to have fail safe systems to prevent any disaster to happen while charging or battery pack is not in use. Therefore, don’t go for cheap and cry for your iPhone.
Here are the all ranges of mophie battery packs for iPhone 5. I am currently using the case. It makes the iPhone bulky and thick but you can easily place the iPhone into your packet. The other options are not that ergonomic for men, unless you carry a bag! The rest of the external battery packs are quite useful but you really need an extra place to put that battery pack!

How to Improve The Battery Performance of iPhone?

How to improve the battery performance of iPhone? There are many articles about this, so I am not going to discuss about this issue with many paragraphs. I would like to share my ways to improve the batter performance of iPhone.
First way is to switching of Auto-Brightness. Auto-Brightness function manipulates the level of brightness according to the light level on that particular environment. However, iPhone never thinks about the battery life whist adjusting the brightness. And in many situations, iPhone adjusts the brightness to maximum while your battery was struggling to survive. Just switch of the Auto-Brightness and adjust manually.
Second one is the notorious GPS or location services. iPhone loves to use GPS service for anything, even for the simplest things, such as adjusting the time. That’s how many people experience battery issues with iPhone. In order to check what iPhone is doing with the GPS or location services.  Find the Privacy menu on the Settings, and then scroll down to System Services. Here you will find the battery eaters and turn off everything except Compass Calibration and Mobile Network Search, the rest is literally useless. Again scroll down the menu and find Status Bar Icon, turn on. By this way, if anyone app uses the GPS or location services, you will see an arrow next to battery level. 
When you notice an app uses the GPS constantly, find the Privacy menu and touch Locations Services. Now just scroll down for the app, which has a pink arrow. This means, that app is using the GPS and eating your battery. Just turn it off :)

How can I show my number instead of my email on iMessage! This is quite common problem since the Apple introduced the iMessage technology compete with WhatsApp and Blackberry Messenger. 
The structure was very simple, you can use iMessage by both mobile number and email address at the same time, however things did not end up that simple. We started to receive text messages with email address instead of mobile phone numbers into our iPhones! As a result of this, we tried to guess that person based on the email address.
So how to solve this problem? Literally, I want to show my mobile number instead of my email address!
Do this from your iPhone not from other devices to avoid things go worse.
1. Press Home Button (The circle button) to switch Home Screen where the Settings icon is present.
2. Touch Settings button.
3. Scroll down and find Messages and touch it.
4. Scroll down and find Send & Receive and touch it.
5. Find Start New Conversations From and touch to your mobile number.
6. If you cannot see your mobile number or cannot change the settings, go back to step 3.
7. Now turn off the iMessage by touching On and now touch Off.
8. This process restarts the iMessage and go back to Step 4.
When you see the tick next to your mobile number, your mobile number will appear on iMesssage instead of your email address. 
If you cannot see your mobile number or the Start New Conversations From section, just turn off and on your iPhone.

Pong Research iPhone 5 Case: Reduces Radiation

Pong Research iPhone 5 case is the only iPhone case that can reduce EMR (Electromagnetic Radiation) level. EMR is created by the mobile devices whilst communication and we are exposed to it. Pong Research developed a case that features another antenna, which reduces the EMR radiation safely. Moreover, this second antenna improves the battery life and reception level as well.

I already have the Pong case for iPhone 4 and with the new case for iPhone 5, there is a serious improvement on the technology packed inside the case. Pong’s iPhone 5 case provided me extra half a day with same level of usage. Actually, one day I had the two wholes days with a single charge in an iPhone 5.

This sounds really outstanding! I really was not expecting even half a day battery life improvement but I experience more than that! And in some extreme conditions like inside a lift, I had a single bar of signal. Don’t expect to have a full coverage with this case inside a lift, but one bar is better than nothing.

The only thing, I can criticise is the thickness of the case. Pong case is not super thin like other cases, because there is a second antenna inside that thick layer. Therefore, I cannot say this is an adverse side of the case. Existing technology cannot keep this case slimmer, but I am sure Pong will improve the case in future models.

Samsung made an amazing press launch for their latest Galaxy S4 and offers very competitive features that could shake the foundation of the iPhone 5.

As I am an Apple user, I have a huge tendency to keep using iPhone. The main reason for this, iPhone is manufactured with state-of-art precision in details and premium quality materials are used. One of the key advantages of iPhone 5 is the quality feeling. Apple has allergy to plastic like I do, and they rarely use plastic materials on their products, especially with iPhone 5. Thus, the first impression of iPhone 5 is always better than Samsung Galaxy. Also customer service and warranty system of Apple cannot be achieved by any other competitor on market. I always feel safe with Apple products, because Apple will take care if something goes wrong.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is made from polycarbonate (kind of very very strong plastic), which reduces the premium finish effect and moves closer to solid design. Keep in mind solid design does not mean premium quality. Despite polycarbonate, Samsung Galaxy S4 brings some new technology to market. Galaxy S4 can track your eyes and pause a video when you are not looking at the screen, and you can control the apps with hand gesture. I am sure hand gesture feature in Samsung Galaxy S4 will be very useful when you have the gloves! Also, Galaxy S4 shows the temperature and air pressure of your environment. Actually, these features are very useful. They may sound simple but I really feel the lack of temperature function on iPhone 5. And also, Galaxy S4 offers 441 pixel per inch (ppi), which is more than the iPhone 5 326 ppi. This means, Galaxy S4’s screen shows sharper images than the iPhone 5.

Downsides of Galaxy S4; you still need to open the back to replace your SIM card, it is way too large for a pocket, plastic body does not match with premium price tag. I wish that Samsung released the Galaxy S4 in carbon fibre body, I am sure that it will be appreciated as much as the iPhone 5’s anodized aluminium body.

Samsung Galaxy S4 is literally more powerful than a netbook or low-spec notebook. It does not look as exciting as the iPhone 5 but probably the best Android device on market at the moment. Actually, if you want to buy a smart phone you either buy iPhone or Samsung, that’s it.
