2016 Bentley SUV Video
Today Bentley released a new video of the upcoming SUV model. Despite many negative feedback for the SUV model, Bentley kept focusing on the project. And I am not surprised with this. Because, there is a very profitable market on SUV segment that is not captured by the Bentley and it is utilised by the Range Rover.
Therefore, it is very reasonable to see a Bentley SUV. I don’t think that Bentley SUV will offer state-of-art off road experience but it will be the pinnacle of luxury on SUV segment. Also plug-in hybrid is confirmed as well.
I am definitely sure that Bentley SUV will capture the high end customers of Range Rover, also the technological infrastructure of Volkswagen group will offer very competitive features as well.
It is expected to see Bentley SUV around 2016 with wide range of engine options.

Bentley SUV Photo is Released #NewBentley
New Bentley SUV photo is released to public few minutes ago. And I can say, it looks way better than the previous Bentley SUV. However, this time Bentley design team did not wish to take any risk and they stick with Flying Spur design philosophy to create the new Bentley SUV.
So, when you see the new Bentley SUV in few years time (2016), don’t be surprise with the similarity to Flying Spur.
I think it looks quite good and people will start ordering! So, Range Rover’s kingdom is under threat!

A dog is tied to a Bentley Mulsanne’s Flying B in London and it is not a fake photo! Bentley Mulsanne’s Flying B for represent the long heritage of Bentley. And also, it is an optional extra! However, the engineers in Crewe, England never thought that Bentley’s Flying B (£200,000) will be used for an interesting purpose, tying a dog. That’s correct, Derek Bennett (General Manager of Jack Barclays, HR Owen) recently took a photo of a Bentley Mulsanne with a Flying B and a dog is tied to it.
So, we can clearly see that, every optional feature on a Bentley employes an important feature.

Bentley for Men Intense perfume is recently revealed to public at Detroit Motor Show. No, I am joking. Bentley did not reveal the perfume on a motor show. Anyway, this is the first time Bentley introduces a perfume and did it properly.
Bentley for Men Intense created in France by Natahlie Lorson from Firmenich. This perfume promises; more leather, more spices and more patchouli. And unlike other fragrances from car companies, Bentley went straight forward to eau de Perfume with %15 of perfume. This means, you will buy perfume instead of water. Consider %15 as w12, %30 will be W12 Speed.
Anyway, the Bentley for Men’s scent family is woody – spicy – leather. Top scents are; black pepper, incense SFE and African geranium. Heart; clary sage, labdanum resin and leather NP. Base; cedar wood, patchouli and sandalwood. Thanks to new innovative technologies, the scent of leather is added to Bentley’s perfume. But don’t ask me how they did it.
As usual, the diamond-shaped polished metal knob represents the Bentley design and creates luxury feeling.

Bentley Continental GT3 was in Autosport International 2014. Bentley reinvented the Continental GT for racing and reduced its mass weight by 1-tonne. And engine is revised to produce 600 HP from a V8 turbo petrol. Literally everything is made from carbon fibre, the mass weight is less than 1.3-tonne. The gearbox is a sequential six-speed. The racing ABS and traction control is added as well, the limited differential lock is on board.

Pal Zileri Press Day at HR Owen
Pal Zileri, the iconic Italian fashion brand. Usually people don’t know very well about this brand. Unlike other Italian brands, Pal Zileri is not preferred by people who are planning to show off! That’s why Pal Zileri brand is preferred by a particularly different customer group.
And few weeks ago I had chance to attend Pal Zileri press day for their latest collection at Bentley and Bugatti dealer, HR Owen in London. It was a very good place to hold a press day, thanks to Bugatti Veyron! Despite the essence of 1200 HP of Bugatti Veyron W16 engine, Bugatti is a French brand owned by VW Group. Basically, it is not Italian. However, there is a minor problem with Italian car brands! There is no adequate space at Ferrari or Maserati dealers! You cannot squeeze a fashion event into a space.
In terms of fashion world, it is good to have a combination of different tastes. If the event was hold in Ferrari dealer, it won’t be that exciting. Because, everything would be Italian and it may turn into an Italian trade fair :)
Let’s go back to collection. As you expected Pal Zileri offers a unique and exquisite collection for the upcoming season. Personally, I really like the colour used for the collection. Usually, brands similar to Pal Zileri tend to use colours like black, grey, light grey, dark grey, very dark grey, very light grey, green black, grey black, black black, white, more white, boring green and the excitement of the colours goes forever. However, in order to look serious is not directly linked with the black, grey and white.
Pal Zileri’s collection proofs that you can dress smart and serious but it won’t made by black, grey and white.

Aston Martin Cygnet is Dead
Aston Martin Cygnet is dead! Today Aston Martin officially announced their decision to stop making Cygnet model. Honestly, I am bit sad with this news, despite all efforts tiny Cygnet could not keep up with its older siblings.
Since the Cygnet was revealed, it never managed to achieve any success or respected by the consumers. Aston Martin first announced that, Cygnet will be available to existing Aston Martin owners and they changed their mind and then they change their mind again. Because, it was based on Toyota iQ without any technical modification and didn’t have enough money to replace the Toyota details.
Honestly, it was obvious mistake since the beginning. Aston Martin tried to reduce their fleet emission level by cutting corners and did not manage to reveal a proper luxury small car. Actually, luxury small car market is immature. MINI Inspired by Goodwood version managed stay in dealers to attempt world record. Their demand is so niche and so weak, manufacturing is not a feasible option.
Now, Cygnet will take its place on Aston Martin’s history as a failure from the beginning. I am sure, the small luxury car market will expand in future as the younger generation who loves to play with iPhones gets older. However, wrapping up a Toyota iQ was not a very reasonable solution to reveal a luxury product.
Actually, I liked the Aston Martin Cygnet. It was a very cute car but its fate was not that bright. And I am really happy to see it in real life.

New Mercedes S-Class Coupe | New CL Coupe?
Today Mercedes released a video of the upcoming S-Class Coupe concept. The S-Class Coupe is not something new, it is going to replace the CL-Class. As the new branding strategy of the Mercedes, they started to use Coupe word like E-Coupe, S-Coupe and leaving the CLK and CL brands.
New S-Coupe or S-Class Coupe will be based on the existing S-Class with two less doors. They might be a diesel engine option but I don’t think so. Because, Mercedes is trying to compete with Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari and Maserati with S-Class Coupe and these competitors do not offer diesel engines.
Anyway, the S-Class Coupe concept looks like beautiful but it is not production vehicle, so there will be minor and major changes. And also, S-Class Coupe will not be as boring as S-Class thanks to different customer audience but still a Mercedes, not a Bentley.
