Rolls Royce Wraith Photos from Geneva, Goodwood (England) and All Press Releases

Rolls Royce Wraith, the latest coupe from Rolls Royce. Literally, the most charming Rolls Royce on product range. The Wraith is based on Ghost with a smaller dimension but still Wriath is a huge coupe. And powered by a V12 petrol engine with 624 HP and 800 Nm of torque (more than Ghost). Also Wraith experienced weight reduction to improve handling and to provide more sportive handling experience.

Rolls Royce Wraith’s drivetrain was developed in Nürburgring and this proofs that Wraith will be a different Rolls Royce. And also 8-speed automatic gearbox works simultaneously with GPS system and selects the best gear for the road based on the data received from satellites and it is called Satellites Aided Transmission. And lastly, Wraith only needs 4.4 seconds to achieve 100 km/h!

My opinion, Rolls Royce Wraith definitely competes with Bentley Continental GT and that’s a really good step for Rolls Royce. Until now, Bentley Continental GT did not have a direct competitor from Rolls Royce and that was leaving a gap for Rolls Royce. I am definitely sure that many people would prefer the Rolls Royce Wraith but the €245.000 base price is a serious obstacle. But this market, €245.000 is not a big problem.

I uploaded all the photos from Geneva, Goodwood press event and press photos. Video are coming as well.

New Bentley Flying Spur Photos

New Bentley Flying Spur is revealed just recently to replace the outgoing Continental Flying Spur. You may have noticed that Bentley does not call the new Flying Spur under the Continental family, now it is an independent model. And now Flying Spur has a more distinctive design; interior still shares the same design clues with the other Continental GT cars but more biased on comfort. Exterior looks similar to Continental GT as well but the rear creates a whole new dimension.

New Flying Spur interior includes 600 new parts and redesigned interior sound insulation to increase the journey comfort. Now, you will hear less engine, exhaust and wind noises inside the cabin of Bentley Flying Spur. Each of the seats offers heating and ventilation. A new climate control is offered as well to warm up and cool down the cabin quicker than before.

Touch screen remote in Flying Spur enables passenger to control each instrument of the vehicle without being disturbed.

In my opinion new Bentley Flying Spur is the sportier version of the Mulsanne. Hopefully, Bentley removed the DNA of the Continental GT from the Flying Spur and created a new identify.

Lastly, Bentley Flying Spur is powered by a W12 6-lt petrol engine with 625 HP and 800 Nm of torque coupled with 8-speed automatic gearbox. Flying Spur needs only 4.3 seconds to reach 100 km/h with the top speed of 322 km/h. Literally, Bentley Flying Spur is the fastest four-door production saloon.

And according to these figures, there may not be a Flying Spur Speed version and this shows that Bentley wants Flying Spur to be different!

How to Pronounce Rolls Royce Wraith?

How to pronounce Rolls Royce Wraith? Wraith is the newest coupe from the Rolls Royce, it will be based on Rolls Royce Ghost and designed to compete with Bentley Continental GT coupe.

However, we have a problem. Rolls Royce Wraith is not easy to pronounce. If you are planning to buy one and visit a dealer, you may have a problem. I want the coupe that starts with W does not sound a great solution.

So, I found the pronunciation of the Wraith from Oxford dictionary. Firstly, Wraith means Ghost in Scottish.

Here is the pronunciation: /reɪθ/

You don’t pronounce the W in the beginning and stress on the “th”. Video footage will help you as well.

New Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible Previously Known As GTC Speed

Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible is official announced today. And interestingly Bentley did not name this car as GTC Speed like previous years. The GTC was standing for the convertible version of GT, and by this way we can identify the Bentley whether it is coupe or convertible. However, this time Bentley decided to name the GT Speed Convertible and removed the “C” from GTC. I have no clue why Bentley changed the name of the car.
Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible is the fastest four-seat convertible on product, thanks to 325 km/h (202 mph) top speed. A friendly recommendation, don’t try to drive a convertible with those speeds, it may not be that comfortable!
Continental GT Speed Convertible achieves this outstanding top speed by W12 twin turbo petrol engine with 625 HP and 800 Nm of torque from the 2000 rpm! Basically, you don’t need to lower the gears to speed up. And W12 engine is coupled with short ratio 8-speed automatic gearbox. And this W12 engine is 15% more economic than the previous one. I am definitely sure that, after this improvement people will rush into Bentley :)
I don’t think that many customers of Bentley change their mind due to consumption figures. It is good to see the improvement in fast cars but their customers really don’t bother with the petrol price :) As some of them produce petrol as well.
Lastly, Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible really looks beautiful. I am not a fan of convertible cars but GT Speed looks really nice.

Eterniti Artemis Super-SUV: Contemporary Personalisation of Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (Updated)

Eterniti Artemis, the Super-SUV or contemporary personalisation of Porsche Cayenne. Last night, I was in north-west of London in Park Royal. It was the Eterniti Motor’s first dealer, the boutique luxury car maker. Many of you may not heard of Eterniti Motors yet, that’s normal because Eterniti is a brand new car company concentrated on one product called Artemis.

Artemis is one of the goddess from the Greek Mythology, daughter of Zeus and Leto and twin sister of Apollo. However, this Artemis is very different from the one in Greek Mythology. This Artemis is based on three notions; luxury sedan, sports car and SUV.

Eterniti Artemis is a personalised version of Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. However, the personalisation is not only limited with the exterior and interior! Engine, drive train is modified to match with personlisation. I would like to start from the engine, the sports car notion.

Artemis produces 600 HP and 750 Nm of torque from the same engine (4.8-lt Twin Turbo petrol) you may find in Cayenne Turbo S. These figures are far beyond of any other SUV except Mercedes G65 AMG, but that’s a G-Class. Moreover, the further modifications are done for the jet fighter inspired exhaust, drive train, active anti-roll bars and wheels. The wheels of Eterniti Artemis are massive, 23-inch! I guess, I never seen that big wheels for a such long time. However, despite the massive size of the wheels they don’t look that bad.

The exterior is definitely something you cannot see every day on the road. It is designed from the scratch, despite the size of the Porsche Cayenne, Artemis does not look that big from outside. However, it is massive from inside. As Eterniti Artemis is the first Super-SUV on market, their aim is to offer a luxury sedan feeling in an SUV; in order to achieve this Eterniti had to revise the interior. And Artemis offers two individuals seats at the rear with heating, cooling and memory functions. And also, the rear seats are moved back to improve the rear legroom, which is a must of a luxury sedan.

Also the whole interior is personalised from floor to ceiling. The floor is covered with lamb wool rugs and feels amazing! I never experienced this type of comfort inside a car. And the ceiling is covered with LEDs to create the atmosphere of a clear sky with stars. You may find this Rolls Royce! The centre console is completed with natural wood and carbon fibre and alcantara leather is used in many parts. The exceptional uniqueness of interior design reflects the horizons of the personalisation. If you order an Eterniti Artemis, you have the freedom to personalise everything!

I would like to go back to performance figures again, the Artemis is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and with the top speed of nearly 300 km/h (186 mph). The revised drivetrain offers a unique handling performance for a car at this size. The revision is done by Alastair Macqueen, who worked in Jaguar XJ220, Le Mans 24 for Bentley and Jaguar and Artemis is tested by Johnny Herbert. I talked with people who drove the Artemis and they told me it has a phenomenal handling. It is hard to believe but when you see the 315/25 23” wheels, you are convinced quite easily. Still, when you buy one don’t try to push the limit :)

In the end, Eterni Artemis is a new competitor for luxury car market targeted for Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and a bit of RangeRover with the price tag of £210,000+. I am sure that many from people Russia, USA, Middle East and China are looking forward to have a car like this. Because, it is combines the luxury sedan, SUV and sports car in one pack. And from economics perspective, instead of buying three different cars, you can have everything with one Artemis. Now, Artemis sounds good priced!

£148 Million Lottery Winner from UK Bought A Ford Kuga!

Which car would you buy if you win £148 million ($238 million, €185 million) from lottery? Many of you will start the list with Bugatti, Bentley, or more down-to-earth with Maserati or Mercedes AMG or Audi. For many people winning lottery is the short-cut to buy a super luxury car, without thinking the consequence of ownership of a super luxury car.
During August, a family in UK won £148 million from lottery and I was expecting them to buy a Range Rover or BMW 7-Series or something similar to these. Because, they have lots of money to buy any car on the planet and most probably the interest income will be enough to cover the maintenance and other costs.
What did British lottery winner buy? They bought something very very down-to-earth, Ford Kuga! Ford Kuga only cost to them around £25,000. I don’t convert to other currencies, because it is nothing when you compare with £148 million!
On the other hand, Ford Kuga is not a bad despite the fact that it is end of its product lifecycle. And unfortunately Kuga does not offer any downsized engines, the engine range is 2-lt diesel with 140 PS or 163 PS and 2.5-lt 200 PS petrol engine. You may have double clutch automatic gearbox, and I highly recommend it. Despite limited engine range, Kuga is not that bad at all, you still have lots of electronic gadgets and safety systems. And it looks really good! If it was branded as Range Rover, many people would definitely buy it!
I hope lottery winner family with their Ford Kuga and it seems like they bought the full spec, Titanium X model. Honestly, they should have waited for the new model :(
