Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell: Soundless sport car :(

Today Mercedes released another amazing footage for Mercedes SLS AMG. The ultimate sport car, the ultimate driving passion and the ultimate car not to buy when you have the Ferrari 458! I cannot manage to love this car sorry :( I tried everything but it does not work. This is like forcing yourself to fall in love with someone. We all know that, this does not work! SLS AMG is sport cars which is trying to be retro.
Anyway, Mercedes’s new footage is from the SLS AMG E-Cell. The ultimate electric car, sorry electric sport car. As far as I realized, this car is fully powered by electricity not a hybrid. It will be a mile stone for electric sport car and a mile stone for drivers. Having more kilometres or having more power will be directly related with electric gadgets. More basically, if you are listening Britney Spears you might loss some range or power. Reducing the heat by sophisticated climate control will definitely kill your batteries and range; using headlights, brake lights and many more. Mercedes might also offer Mercedes Benz Generator for SLS AMG, as you will be running out of batter all the time. You will have generator to keep charging it :)
Okay, it is enough! The interesting thing in footage, there was no engine sound. All the time sport car footages are dominated by muscular engine noise and we all love it. This time, we could only hear some electric engine and tyre scrolling! I really didn’t like it. I won’t definitely buy a sport car which does not sounds like a sport car. No way! That’s the main point for buying a powerful, to hear the sound. Unless nobody is using those horses! So the future will be more quite and senseless to buy sport car.

The most environmental Lamborghini !

Lamborghini was never elected as green car of the year and Green Peace never used it as official car. Now, there is a battery powered Lamborghini Gallardo cabrio. Yes, totally works with batteries and emits no emissions and it is still a Lamborghini. However, there is a minor problem with this car; it could only accommodate one person who does not have a driving licence and drivers should be a bit small :)
This is a electric car for kid! Like Top Gear mentioned, this is a totally better than ridicilious G-Wiz. And capable of doing 8 km/h, fast enough for driving at home!

New promotion for electric cars: Petrol generator for more range !

Nowadays we start heard electric cars more and more. They are environmental, saving planet, no emission and new technology. Actually, electric cars are not something new! They were becoming popular in late 19th century. Even Porsche had an electric car in 1900, of course it wasn’t Porsche but produced by Ferdinand Porsche. As the petrol infrastructure developed and difficulty of charging electric car become more obvious, demand to electric cars started decline. At those Ford offered petrol powered cars at the half price electric cars and they disappeared in 1930s.
Now things have changed, people want to save world by electric cars! Unfortunately there are some problems. Main problem is, electricity does not come from space or produced by nature. Something should produce it and that something is a very big planet. And some of the big something is working with coal, which is not a tree hugger resource. So, when we use electricity produced by coal powered plants, we create lots of emissions. However nice thing is, you don’t see any smoke coming out next to you. So with this confidence, you can charge your electric car and create no pollution :) All you are doing is creating emission in the middle of nowhere and you don’t see it!
The electric cars are working with batteries and they aren’t different than our laptop’s batteries. Like our laptop’s batteries, one day they will commit suicide and we have replaced them. Sure you throw to thrash and send something to nature which cannot be recycled!
And if you want to increase the range of your e-car, you will have more batteries. And you can leave a more remarkable gift to nature from you.
In basic terms; until nano technology, super ultra high capacity batteries are available on market, tries to attach a generator to your e-car to extend its range. Don’t worry, you won’t destroy the nature, because you are already destroying while charging at home.
 

Car companies which are offering electric cars should also offer range extender small generators :) If the electric cars did not vanquished from market in 1930s, we would be driving very efficient, very green electric cars with a very long range.

Hybrid, Electric, Battery, etc

Last five years, we realized that the whole world is mess and we did lots of wrong things. Hopefully we realized after decades later. And as soon as we realized this, we jumped into our hybrids and save the planet. Or we thought that we were saving the planet.
Everyone has something to say about hybrid and electric cars, which company will make more profit, German or Japanese be dominant and it is going like this. However nobody is asking, where does the lithium is coming from. Lithium-ion batteries are everywhere in our life, from laptops to mobile phone and electric cars. In current technology, it is the most effective way to store energy.
But lithium does not grow on soil or you cannot find in Gulf countries unlike petrol. %50 is in Bolivia ! I don’t wish to comment about the condition of Bolivia. However, this hybird, electric or whatever technology will do something very clear; create new rich people in Bolivia. As the lithiums demand is increasing, we could see some aritifical islands made by Bolivia.
In addition Chile holds the second biggest lithium reserves.
