Jimmy Choo Cinderella Slippers

Cinderella slippers are now available via Jimmy Choo. I guess the live action reimagining of the Cinderella movie has generated a business opportunity for shoe designers, including the ones that make transparent slippers. However, you still need to be on trend to wear your shiny transparent heels!

Jimmy Choo recently revealed a Cinderella slippers collection based on their pointed toe pumps. They are neither slippers, nor made from glass. However, the designers at Jimmy Choo have managed to deliver the fairytale essence using detailed craftsmanship. The shoes boast 7000 Swarovski crystals and 46 stones for that heart-stopping Cinderella twinkle-toes look (or pointy toe).

Jimmy Choo offers three different heels heights; 85mm, 100mm and 110mm. If you are going to buy one, go for the highest one!

Christian Louboutin has pushed the boundaries of high heels without any platforms by designing the Hot Chick model, with 130mm (5,5-inch) heels without the help of platforms –quite a feat. Actually, not in terms of manufacturing but definitely in terms of daily usage.

Wearing 130mm heels without platforms will definitely increase your sexiness and highlight the curve of your silhouette but Hot Chick is not designed to be worn a whole day or to run after a train. They are designed for capturing a man’s interest and bringing them to you effortlessly.

So much for the fantasy, how do Hot Chick fair in real life? My friend Sarah is a real Christian Louboutin lover and she has many different pairs. And one of her favourite models is Hot Chick! She doesn’t just wear them sitting down, she wears them everywhere. You can easily see that she is an expert at wearing 130mm stiletto heels with no platforms. Based on the photos, she seems quite comfortable in these stunning Hot Chicks.

Agent Provocateur dresses; it does sound a bit unusual doesn’t it? We all know that Agent Provocateur is a lingerie brand that specialises in high-end risqué glamour. However I have just recently found out that AP’s dress collection is surprisingly wearable.

So how do the Agent Provocateur dresses look?

As you can see, they are definitely body-conscious but subtly suggestive rather than showy. Workable with jackets but undoubtedly at home on a dance floor, at an upscale casino or on a date. By the way, try not to wear the fluffy high-heeled mules outside :)

Spring is finally here and I am sure you are trying to shed the lingering winter mood. Boux Avenue thinks the same way and has revealed their SS 2015 campaign. The SS 2015 collection definitely encapsulates the essence of spring. Colours in this lingerie collection are resoundingly floral. However, this doesn’t mean you should venture outside and stand next to a flowerbed in just your lingerie, hoping to recreate the scenery from the campaign.

In case you’re not familiar with Boux Avenue, it is a UK-based lingerie brand. It is not as expensive as Agent Provocateur but Boux Avenue also indirectly motivated Agent Provocateur to focus on lower market segments!

Despite the latest trends abandoning platforms heels, Charlotte Olympia still offers a height that will make skyscrapers weep with envy! I assume they are around the 15-cm (6-inch) height range.

Some of your might be thinking that they are too high or too expensive, but that’s the whims of fashion! It is really hard to find a shoe that satisfies every single expectation.

Natalie Portman is the runaway bridge from the Miss Dior’s latest advertisement campaign. Natalie flees to her Cote D’Azur wedding ceremony and the last minute she decided to avoid saying “I do”. It was like a rejected take-off of an airplane. However, as she decided to run away from the wedding, she was some difficulties. Such as, her high heeled shoes. In case of changing your mind at the wedding ceremony, you need to be accelerating faster than a Bugatti Veyron. Also, the wedding dress was important, it was quite aerodynamic and did not create any drag whilst she was running to her lover, who was waiting inside a silly helicopter.

The biggest question how to avoid a bride to run away from the wedding? 1) Invest on shoes! Get Tom Ford’s pump high heels with ankle strap and locks model. If you have the key, she won’t be able to take them off and running will be an issue. 2) Arrange a wedding dress that has a massive aerodynamic drag and heavy, it will save time. 3) Let her go, forced marriage will not work. Better to avoid at an early stage!
