Ferrari 512BBi HR Owen Ferrari London

The Ferrari 512BBi. I spotted this car a couple of months ago at the HR Owen Ferrari dealership in Chelsea, London. Unfortunately, I am not good at classic cars but I will do my best for this post.

The Ferrari 512BBi features a 4.9-litre flat-12 cylinder engine with a fuel injection system with 335 HP! It features a 5-speed manual gearbox. It takes around 5.4 seconds to reach 100 km/h or more. The top speed is 257 km/h. However, I wouldn’t want to test the top speed. Only 1,007 of them were manufactured.

Six Bentley Bentaygas at Jack Barclay HR Owen

Six Bentley Bentaygas at the same place at the same time, Jack Barclay HR Owen, Benteyga Weeks!

The Bentley Bentayga is the SUV of the legendary Bentley brand. Some people didn’t like it and some people loved it so much they bought it in pairs. As a result of this super-duper love, if you are planning to buy a Bentayga, you have to wait around 18-months in the UK.

This may sound too extreme for some people, but when you consider the price tag starting from £140,000 and an option of a £160,000 hand-made Breitling Tourbillon automatic watch, people who ordered the Benteyga might be super-excited as well.

Anyway, the Jack Barclay HR Owen Bentley dealer in Mayfair, London recently had a Bentayga week and brought six Bentaygas into their dealership. I was really lucky to be able to see six Bentley Bentaygas at the same time and in the same place.

Keep in mind that the diesel Bentayga has been recently released. If you were concerned about the W12’s fuel consumption, the V8 diesel will the best choice for you.

The New Bugatti Chiron | HR Owen Mayfair London

Finally, I have managed to have a look at the Bugatti Chiron in real life at HR Owen, the Mayfair London dealer. The Chiron is the most powerful mass produced car available at the moment. The W16 engine produces 1500 HP with (number) of torque. Chiron is still an all-wheel drive and the gearbox is a 7-speed DSG placed between the passenger seats. The massive bump between the seats is the gearbox.

The interior is very luxurious. The Chiron is more like a long-distance cruiser than a short distance racing car. You will definitely feel an improvement in the interior compared to the Veyron. The Veyron had a really good interior, but Chiron does it better.

Despite the interior improvements, the Chiron is not like the Veyron, a ground-breaking car. The Veyron was the pinnacle of automotive engineering. The VW Group created a car that was thought impossible to make and that was the Veyron. To be honest, I was expecting something like this with the Chiron, but the VW Group was not able to invest a massive amount of money in the Chiron and develop everything from scratch. Designing a new engine, a new transmission and a hybrid system would cost billions. Therefore, the Chiron is the refined version of the Veyron, and there is nothing wrong with this.

So what I was expecting to see? I was expecting to see a 1500 HP hybrid powered car with a pure carbon-fibre body. Unfortunately, this dream costs a lot of money and the VW Group can’t afford this at the moment.

The Chiron is definitely a unique car, and I was very lucky to see one in real life. Unlike other cars, the Chiron does not have an engine noise like a power drill, and it still maintains an understated identity. What I can see with the Chiron, is that the VW Group has refined the Veyron, and has made it better, faster and probably more usable on an everyday basis.

New Photos of Bentley Bentayga at Jack Barclay HR Owen London

A couple of months ago, I managed to spot Bentley’s first SUV, the Bentayga at the Jack Barclay (HR Owen) Mayfair, London dealer. However, it was the pre-production version with a massive emergency stop button.

Finally, the production version of the Bentayga reached the dealer, and I was there. Literally, there is no difference between the pre-production and production version. The display model also features a roof-top luggage space for people who are planning to travel the whole of Europe with a Bentayga. We all know that will never happen.

Gold Covered Spirit of Ecstasy: Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead

I don’t want to write a very long article for the gold covered Rolls-Royce mascot (Spirit of the Ecstasy). The photos are telling the story. This is a brand new Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead at HR Owen Mayfair, London dealer.

This is the first time I have seen a gold covered Rolls-Royce mascot. I guess, it is better to keep the lady inside its secure place when you are parking this car.

Bentley Bentayga in Mayfair, London | HR Owen Jack Barclay

Last week, I saw the production version of Bentley Bentayga aka Bentley SUV in front of the Jack Barclay HR Owen dealer at Mayfair, London. It was the first time, I had the chance to spot the Bentayga in real life conditions.

Basically, Mayfair London will be its natural habitat and pavements will be the off road experience for Bentley’s SUV. I already wrote about the Bentayga, but I didn’t have a chance to take a photo of the production car.

What I am thinking about the Bentayga? I am still trying to love it :)

A Second Hand Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRC Edition at Jack Barclay London

Last week I managed to spot a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRC at Jack Barclay Edition HR Owen London. Unfortunately, it is a second Veyron. As the production of Veyron is completed, it is impossible to buy a brand new Veyron.

So, this is your only chance at the moment to own a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRC with 1200 HP and a W16 engine with four turbo chargers.

In addition, the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox is mated with four handmade Michelin tyres that could turn a Louis Vuitton hand bag into an affordable product. (A set of Veyron tyres costs around £20,000).

Despite the staggering price of Veyron and its running cost, it is a classic. Veyron will always be remembered as the ground-breaking car of the 21st century.

Rolls Royce Wraith Inspired by Fashion

The Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Fashion. Yes, I wrote about this car and even spotted the high heels worn by the model. (They were from Gianmarco Lorenzi). However, I never had a chance to see the Inspired by Fashion in real life, until now.

A few weeks ago, at HR Owen Mayfair, a London dealer, I spotted the Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Fashion and took photos. One thing I can say, this car has very very white leather. To be honest, I would be hesitating to sit on these seats with jeans!

Inspired by Fashion is a new era for Rolls-Royce, from the motoring world to the fashion world. Therefore, the colour scheme may not be very tempting for many people, but it represents a new perspective at Rolls-Royce to interact with the contemporary world.

Unfortunately, this car is gone from the dealer now. However, there is always a chance to spot one in the streets of London, maybe at London Fashion Week!

Rolls-Royce Dawn at HR Owen, Mayfair London

Rolls-Royce recently completed the range of the Ghost family with Dawn, the cabriolet. I managed to spot the Dawn at HR Owen Mayfair, a London dealer. Why did I spot the Rolls-Royce cars at HR Owen? I play fair by not visiting the factory to reveal the car on my blog. Actually, the factory is very far away for me, and HR Owen, Mayfair is more convenient (#IamLazy).

Sometimes it is really hard to explain a Rolls-Royce; I can’t start with its state-of-the-art gadgets or how it handles the road or how efficient it is. These subjects are entitled to other cars, When you talk about Rolls-Royce, you have to find another angle of approach. I guess that should be beauty. I can’t say the Rolls-Royce Dawn is the most technological car on the planet, but I can say one thing, it is a very beautiful cabriolet. Or a land yacht.

Rolls-Royce Peacock Mahajara Phantom Drophead Coupe

Rolls-Royce Peacock Mahajara Phantom Drophead Coupe is probably the longest Rolls-Royce model ever made. This is not a new model; it is another limited edition. If you are expecting to read a road test of this limited edition of Rolls-Royce, unfortunately you will need to Google it again. This car is about the heritage, not the ability of cornering on Top Gear’s circuit.

Rolls-Royce and Maharaja have a decades-long relationship, more precisely for 100 years. India’s Princes and Maharajas engaged with Rolls-Royce, and during the last five decades Maharajas purchased more than 840 Rolls-Royce cars! That’s what I call a proper brand loyalty!

Consequently, this long-term relationship is crowned by a limited edition version of the Phantom Drophead Coupe that will be only available in Dubai. Where I saw it? HR Owen, Mayfair London.
