Dubai Police Fleet Cars: Mercedes SLS AMG, Bentley Continental GT, Aston Martin One-77, Lamborghini Aventador! Recently, Dubai Police revealed their new high speed chasing fleet cars on their Twitter account. Thus, the Dubai Police now owns the fastest police fleet in the world. If you are intending to break any traffic rule in Dubai, keep in mind these cars are really really fast!

I assume the next stage of this fleet will be adding the new jet fighter F35!

Lamborghini Aventador Police Car

Dubai Police get Lamborgihini Aventador. This is not a story made up on internet, it is true. Dubai government decided to purchase Lamborghini Aventador for high-speed patrol vehicle. And it became viral!
There is no problem on purchase decision but no one was expected to see flashing lights on a Lamborghini Aventador. 
Aventador is powered by a newly developed 6-lt V12 petrol engine with 700 HP, 690 Nm of torque, 7-speed ISR automatic gearbox, four-wheel drive, 2,9 seconds to reach 100 km/h and 350 km/h top speed! This combination makes the perfect high speed police car.

Aston Martin Mahindra & Mahindra vs. Lamborghini

Lamborghini vs. Aston Martin, they may sound similar but they are totally different. Comparing Lamborghini and Aston Martin is a bit quite wrong. Because, Lamborghini is a pure lunatic sports car with shocking acceleration and I have no idea how comfortable to drive in long journeys. And Lamborghini has a tendency to look like a stealth jet fighter.
 
On the other hand, Aston Martin is a GT! You can drive an Aston Martin for long journeys and you won’t feel tired. Unlike Lamborghini, Aston Martin does not accelerate in lunatic levels and there is no tendency to look like a stealth jet fighter.
 
So, what is the mutual point of Lamborghini and Aston Martin! Here it is, tractor! 
 
Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. is owned Volkswagen Group but the real Lamborghini still produces tractors, because it is their core business. When Ferruccio Lamborghini complained about his Ferrari 250GT regarding to its poorly made clutch, Enzo Ferrari advised him not to discuss about sports car while manufacturing tractors and the story started from here. However, years later Automobili Lamborghini left the main company. Don’t worry, there is no connection with Automobili Lamborghini and tractor manufacturer Lamborghini.
 
However, Aston Martin is going to share the similar fate with Lamborghini. Mahindra & Mahindra is a well-known tractor manufacturer all around the world. Thus, Aston Martin is going to have the fate of Lamborghini in opposite direction. Don’t worry Aston Martin’s clutch will not be replaced with Mahindra & Mahindra tractors’.
 
In terms of business, this will improve the Aston Martin. Because, selling tractors are more profitable than selling niche sports car. So, Aston Martin will have the financial support to improve their vehicles and offer more competitive features. As I always said, Aston Martins must have electric seat adjustment and seat ventilation. These are the musts of the business!
 
If one day, an engineer in Mahindra & Mahindra modifies a tractor with an Aston Martin engine, I won’t be shocked!

Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is the cabrio or open-top model of Aventador. If you know the open-top Lamborghinis, you might stop reading this article but give a second chance. Because, Aventador roadster is totally different that the previous ones.
Aventador Roadster does not have a fabric roof that cannot be closed, this time Lamborghini made a roof that can be closed without an engineering degree. The roof is two parts and made from carbon fibre composite materials with only 6 kg of weight. 
It is extremely easy to open the roof and close it again. You can watch this on video as well.  Moreover, Lamborghini Aventador Roadster’s roof provides maximum aesthetic performance with a guarantee of safety thanks to carbon fibre material. And there is one more advantage, you can get in and out from the Lamborghini Aventador more easily if you buy the Roadster! Because, getting inside the Aventador is really hard and complicated. The opportunity to remove the roof will make it easier!
Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is powered by a 6.5-lt V12 engine with 700 HP coupled with 7-speed single clutch automatic gearbox and capable of achieving 350 km/h.

Lamborghini Track Day in UK by HR OWEN

Lamborghini Track Day in Millbrook, UK done HR Owen. This sounds very tempting and make anyone very jealous but don’t worry I am from the same crowd with you, I just experienced the Lamborghinis from the pictures.

Even though, I never had a chance to drive a Lamborghini, I can imagine the feeling of the acceleration. It is not that hard to imagine the Aventador performance, V12 engine with 700 PS and 2.9 seconds to reach 100 kph (62 mph) and top speed of 350 kph. With these figures, you can imagine and feel the Aventador without even driving one.

Fuel Efficient Lamborghini Aventador

Lamborghini Aventador is going to be more fuel-efficient. I know this sounds like a bit like; ice cold fire, comfortable high heels, being awarded not to paying your tax or a traffic that tells you to drive fast. Technically, all these things are impossible; some of them can be mentioned as possible but you never notice. Like a fuel-efficient Lamborghini Aventador.
 
This fuel-efficient Aventador will be able to shut off its six-cylinder when it is unnecessary, and this would never be possible. Another system in Aventador is the start / stop function and unlike other systems it will be saving weight (3 kg) by using a capacitor instead of battery. And all these things will be save 1.2 l/km (1.2 mpg) and 28 g/km CO2.
 
And I am definitely sure that, all Lamborghini owners will be waiting for this since never. It is impossible to feel these improvements in your credit card when you own a Lamborghini Aventador with 12-cylinder petrol powered engine. All these improvements are for improving the image of Lamborghini. And also, the engineers did a great job to improve the fuel consumption of a Lamborghini.

Mr Porter iPhone Application: Style Icons from Automotive World

Mr Porter is a brand of Net-A-Porter online premium luxury women shopping. Some people may never heard of Net-A-Porter. So, I would like to give a brief information. Net-A-Porter is the most expensive women online shopping place, it is a dream place for many women. And recently, Net-A-Porter started men version, Mr Porter. It has the same concept with Net-A-Porter but only for men!
Mr Porter offers an iPhone application to improve men style. That’s a really good decision, some people really need to improve their style! I hope they will install this application :)
In Mr Porter iPhone application, some of the style icons can be browsed. And there are three names who are very well-known in automotive industry; Stefan WinkelmannCEO of Lamborghini, Gianni Agnelli President of Fiat and Lapo Elkann grandson of Gianni Agnelli and responsible of brand promotion in Fiat.
Interestingly, there are no other names in this list from automotive industry and existing ones are from Italian brands. I think Mr Porter missed some names from United Kingdom, let’s be honest there are quite some people in UK automotive industry with their own style!
