A Dog is Tied to A Bentley Mulsanne’s Flying B in London

A dog is tied to a Bentley Mulsanne’s Flying B in London and it is not a fake photo! Bentley Mulsanne’s Flying B for represent the long heritage of Bentley. And also, it is an optional extra! However, the engineers in Crewe, England never thought that Bentley’s Flying B (£200,000) will be used for an interesting purpose, tying a dog. That’s correct, Derek Bennett (General Manager of Jack Barclays, HR Owen) recently took a photo of a Bentley Mulsanne with a Flying B and a dog is tied to it.
So, we can clearly see that, every optional feature on a Bentley employes an important feature.

New Mercedes S-Class Brochure is on Internet

New Mercedes S-Class W222 brochure was leaked to internet before the official announcement on Wednesday. Despite I never had an emotional attachment with the S-Class, it is the benchmark of automotive industry. Every new vehicle on this segment always tries to overtake the technologies of S-Class. And again one more time, Mercedes S-Class offers new technologies with conservative design.

Here are some; Magic Body Control, Road Surface Scan and many other new technologies. The initial engine options are S350 BlueTEC (258 HP), S400 Hybrid (306 HP) and the legend S500 (455 HP). S350 BlueTEC is a diesel model and can reach to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. In 1999, this performance can be achieved only by S500!

Will I buy one? As I said before, bed inspired reclining seats are the only reason to buy otherwise I will go for a Bentley Mulsanne.

Bentley Mulsanne from Instagram

Bentley Mulsanne is the flagship of the Bentley. And one of the most sportive ultimate luxury sedan with flawless craftsmen ship completed with the high technology. Unfortunately, Mulsanne is not something cheap! So, I decided to share the moment of Bentley Mulsanne from Instagram. Bentley used #Mulsanne twitter hashtag during the Paris Motor Show.

Bentley Mulsanne is powered by a 6.75-lt petrol engine with 512 PS and 1020 Nm of torque coupled with 8-speed automatic gearbox. 5.3 seconds to reach 100 kph (62 mph) with the top speed of 296 mph (184 mph). And weighs 2585 kg!

Bentley Mulsanne Cabrio

Bentley Mulsanne Cabrio is coming! Since 2009, when the Mulsanne was released to public, I was waiting for a cabrio Mulsanne. Because, when the Mulsanne was released Azure was out of production in a few months’ time. So, this lead to a gap in market and finally Bentley released information about Mulsanne cabrio.
According to Bentley press release; cabrio Mulsanne is inspired by luxurious, high-performance powerboats (Not slow ones!). With unrivalled combination of chic contemporary design and sumptuous materials (I don’t know what is sumptuous). Lastly, painstaking attention to detail and supreme refinement.
For my international readers; Mulsanne cabrio will offer superb interior like nothing else, production quality will be spotless, design and attention to details will be a new benchmark.
Honestly, I really love the Mulsanne. It is a great combination of traditional with contemporary automotive technology.

Bentley Mulsanne Technology Centre

Recently Bentley announced Mulliner version for the Mulsanne and if this did not satisfy your needs and you still want more. There is a new option! Mulsanne iPad Edition, sorry new interior option. Bentley offers state-of-art technology centre at the rear seats of the Mulsanne. You have chance to order one roof mounted 15,6-inch LED screen, also you can two 8-inch screens mounted to front headrests. Still you want more? You can have two iPad with keyboards mounted on the picnic tables and if you find iPad too big, you may order an iPod Touch with a unique application to control everything inside the car.
Lastly, there are some old school technology such as Tibaldi fountain pen yacht inspired wood trim and champagne cooler with crystal flutes.
I don’t mind about the screens or the Apple products, but I really like the yacht inspired wood trim, they should offer this for their whole car range.

More Exclusive Bentley Mulsanne

If you find the existing Bentley Mulsanne not exclusive enough, Bentley now offers a solution to this severe problem. Bentley Mulsaane Mulliner styling option. Mulliner offers; a highly distinctive and sporting interpretation of Bentley’s flagship, unique 21-inch wheels and ‘Sport’ setting for suspension and steering Sporting design includes ‘Flying B’ wing vents and Diamond Quilted interior, sunroof and bespoke bottle cooler options introduced across Mulsanne range (I copied from the press release).

Basically, you will get a new sport settings on Drive Dynamics Control system. This adjusts the air suspension and the steering wheeling to respond more sporty and improve the handling! And engine is the same :)

Bentley Time

Last week, after my Lamborghini trip I went to HR Owen Bentley London. I was expecting to catch the new Bentley Continental GT V8 but I was too late! However, the rest of the cars in the dealer were worth to see.
Especially the Mulsanne is my favourite piece. Like in Arnage, it reflects the Bentley heritage and combines with the modern technology. And they told me that, despite its size Mulsanne is still a driver’s car and offers sporty handling when needed!
And I would like to thank you very much staff of HR OwenBentley, they are great people!
