Porsche Panamera V6 in China

Couple of years ago, car manufacturers were revealing their new cars in Geneva or Frankfurt Motor Shows. However world has changed and car companies also changed! European market turned into a place where nobody wants to buy car or they are taking so much time for purchase decision, the car is being replaced :)
On the other hand; emerging markets like China is looking for new cars and they are ready to buy without asking too much questions :) Therefore, car companies started to produce cars which are targeted for Asian markets. Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide are very good examples.
Let’s go back to Porsche. As I told in earlier articles, Porsche loves to introduce Turbo S in the end of product life-cycle and loves to introduce V6 model after couple of months in new vehicles. This only happened with Cayenne! And now Porsche Panamera, my second best Porsche after 911, is not offered with V6 engine. Unlike Cayenne’s insufficient engine, this one produced 300 horsepower from 3,6lt V6 engine.
Unfortunately, this engine is not my favourite but it is good chance to own Panamera with better price ;)

Better than Botox; 911 Turbo S

As we expected, Porsche announced the 911 Turbo S model. There is an interesting coincident for Turbo S! Whenever the product life cycle starts to go down, Porsche is introducing Turbo S model. This happened for Cayenne also! When the life cycle comes to end, Porsche immediately boost the Turbo :)
From one side, this is very nice. More powerful Turbo! New 911 Turbo S is achieving 100km/h in just 3,3 seconds! This is an unbelievable performance. Let me describe this differently; when you floor the gas pedal (hopefully does not stuck like Toyota) you won’t need to do a Botox. Because of the G force, your face will look younger ;) This performance level cannot be compared with anything else, because Bugatti Veyron is wasting 2,7 seconds to rich 100km/h. 911 Turbo S is also a bargain :)
Let me summarize it, if you wish to look younger buy a 911 Turbo S.

New promotion for electric cars: Petrol generator for more range !

Nowadays we start heard electric cars more and more. They are environmental, saving planet, no emission and new technology. Actually, electric cars are not something new! They were becoming popular in late 19th century. Even Porsche had an electric car in 1900, of course it wasn’t Porsche but produced by Ferdinand Porsche. As the petrol infrastructure developed and difficulty of charging electric car become more obvious, demand to electric cars started decline. At those Ford offered petrol powered cars at the half price electric cars and they disappeared in 1930s.
Now things have changed, people want to save world by electric cars! Unfortunately there are some problems. Main problem is, electricity does not come from space or produced by nature. Something should produce it and that something is a very big planet. And some of the big something is working with coal, which is not a tree hugger resource. So, when we use electricity produced by coal powered plants, we create lots of emissions. However nice thing is, you don’t see any smoke coming out next to you. So with this confidence, you can charge your electric car and create no pollution :) All you are doing is creating emission in the middle of nowhere and you don’t see it!
The electric cars are working with batteries and they aren’t different than our laptop’s batteries. Like our laptop’s batteries, one day they will commit suicide and we have replaced them. Sure you throw to thrash and send something to nature which cannot be recycled!
And if you want to increase the range of your e-car, you will have more batteries. And you can leave a more remarkable gift to nature from you.
In basic terms; until nano technology, super ultra high capacity batteries are available on market, tries to attach a generator to your e-car to extend its range. Don’t worry, you won’t destroy the nature, because you are already destroying while charging at home.
 

Car companies which are offering electric cars should also offer range extender small generators :) If the electric cars did not vanquished from market in 1930s, we would be driving very efficient, very green electric cars with a very long range.

Porsche 911 Coffee

Porsche 911 is my one of the most favourite car for all time. As it has been produced for forty seven years, it can be considered as the best sports car on market. Forty seven years of experiences of producing the same car is something which cannot be achieved very easily and cannot be found in any other sports car!
Since 1963; as the 911 developed and evolved, marketing also evolved and 911 is influenced by new trends. When it was first revealed on market, there were not many 911 range. And now there are sixteen different 911s including cabrios models. From 911 Carrera to 911 GT3 RS, there is always a 911 for you. That’s good, because 911 has the ability to offer different driving characteristics for different drivers. But, choosing the right 911 is like choosing the right coffee in Starbucks. There are lots of choices but you cannot prefer one!
Should I buy 911 Turbo? No, 911 Carrera 4S is cheaper. No, 911 Targa 4S looks better. No, 911 GT2 is superb car. And in the end, you cannot choose what to buy. Like in Starbucks; you just want to drink a coffee and they offer you millions of options to confuse you!
And the S models are just for confusing people. There is small price and power different between each other and it could drive you crazy, which one to buy :)
In both cases, you neither buy a pure 911 nor pure coffee! Welcome to world of marketing :)
My all time decision is 911 Turbo ;) It has everything; power, handling, comfort, design and coffee holder.

Porsche Design Kitchen P7340

Exactly true, Porsche Design offers a full kitchen which you could find it with this model number P7340.
As you know that; Porsche Design offers different types of goods which are reflecting Porsche Design culture and all of them are piece of art.
But this kitchen won’t end up very nicely at home. P7340 will be the number married couples won’t ever forget it !!! Husband orders a P7340 and forgets to ask his wife about this decision (I don’t think this is possible) and when the P7340 arrives at home his wife’s expression will be more unexpected than the kitchen. Probably, P7340 might cause some “small” problems which could forward a married couple to lawyer for divorce. This is the worst scenario! I hope it will never happen.
However if you wish to have something with Porsche Design label, just buy Porsche Design kettle. It will be less painful :)
