This month, I visited the Selfridges Birmingham for a special event done by GQ Magazine. Recently, Selfridges Birmingham started to refurbish their department store in Birmingham. And to celebrate the opening of the men section, GQ Magazine hold a welcoming event. It was a great opportunity to met with people behind scene, men collection buyers from Selfridges and the retail editor of GQ Magazine (Giorgina Waltier). My favourite ones were from the Paul Smith, their collection is always amazing!
Jimmy Choo at Selfridges. Jimmy Choo is not like Christian Louboution, yes they are notorious for super high heels but they have a minor difference. It is really hard to identify a pair of Jimmy Choo, if you don’t its details. May be that’s the reason, why many people prefer Jimmy Choo. I didn’t make a typo, that’s true the legendary skyscraper high heels manufacturer Christian Louboutin expanded its men collection and made a bold statement the men boutique at Selfridges. From now on, Christian Louboutin will be looking forward to be desired by men like women. And I am definitely sure that, many people will be checking the red soles of the men shoes. Hence, Christian Louboutin empire will expand to men territory.
However, men territory is a bit different than the women. We don’t like to shop during the season and finish all shopping during sales. Because, most of the men items in fashion stores will be available during the sales, for that reason, there is no need to rush during the full prices!
Christian Louboutin is different case like Apple. Like many women, men also accepted the statement of having a pair of red soles! That’s the point, having a red soles. Christian Louboutin 2013 collection in Selfridges. This was first time to take photos of the iconic fashion brand Christian Louboutin. Until now, I was taking photos of the cars that are quite big objects with lots of details. Sometimes it was taking half an hour to picture a car. Hopefully, high-heeled shoes do not have extreme interior detailing like a Rolls Royce. So, I assumed it won’t take so much to take photos.
However, there is another challenge with the shoes! Christian Louboutin 2013 collection is literally endless in Selfridges Birmingham! Louboutin offers many different types of shoes to many different customer ranges. As a result of this, you end up with an endless collection. From flats to sky-scrapper heels. If you are planning to buy a pair of Christian Louboutin, go for the highest one! It is like buying a new smart phone, no one wants to buy something slower!
