I found something interesting in my photo archive from 2005! A Maybach 62, the long one. At that year, it travelled all around the Mercedes-Benz dealers in Turkey to find someone who is willing to pay for €800,000 for a car. But it failed! As you the S-Class was cheaper and sharing many things in common, also the five zeros in price tag flatten out the motivation to buy one. Interestingly, it looks the same in 2011!
Yesterday I did not have chance to post an article in my blog, but they are ready for Thursday.
As usual, today is the car of the day. The picture below is the proof of my first visual experience with Ferrari Enzo during the summer 2009 in London.
The world’s most pointless vehicle, Dodge RAM SRT 10. It is equipped with 8,3lt engine, which can only produce 517 HP and coupled with six speed manual. I took this picture in 2006 in Ankara, Turkey. This car is totally pointless, lack of quality, eating the every petrol station, very hard clutch, ugly gear lever and more!
I recently saw this vehicle in University of Birmingham. Actually, it is the first I saw this brand with my eyes. I heard the Commer but never had the chance to see it for real! I am not sure but this car can be Commer FC produced from 1960 to 1982.
This week’s photo is a Porsche Panamera Turbo. The reason for placing this photo is the Panamera’s state of the art rear wing. I did not have chance to show how it raise from body but it is amazing. This wing is not one peace, it is three pieces!!
I have noticed that, many people are posting pictures named as “dress of the day”, “city of the day”, “shoes of the day”, “architecture of the day” and so on. Then I thought, I have lots of car pictures which were taken by me and why I should not upload them as “car of the day”. On each Wednesday, I will be posting a car from my own library.
