I know still the 50 does not sound that much but it is more than eight and you have more chance to own one. So why you should buy one? The Meisterstück L’Aubrac is made from Brazilian wood enhanced by chiselled 18-carat white gold inlays, which pay tribute to the traditional craft techniques used by Forge de Laguiole. And, finally Meisterstück L’Aubrac pen is finished with an 18-carat gold nib and a Montblanc Diamond on the cap.

As I told you this, Meisterstück L’Aubrac Limited Edition available to 50 people with a price tag of £17.200. I do know that this price tag is not that cheap but when you consider the exquisite characteristics of the pen, it does worth! And this pen is totally hand made.

A Real Limited Edition from Montblanc: Meisterstück L’Aubrac Limited Edition 8

Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L’Aubrac Limited Edition 8, as you may guess from the name this pen is a limited edition, the £43,000 ($70,000 – €53,000) price may give you the impression of state-of-art exclusivity for the ownership. And you are right, Limited Edition 8 is only available to 8 pieces!

I know this sounds shocking, who is going to pay £43,000 just for a pen. For many people this is an ordinary pen, nothing really special or different than a Lamy. However, the reality is totally different. Montblanc has the engineering heritage for writing instruments, but still £43,000 sounds too much for a pen.

L’Aubrac Limited Edition 8 is covered or interpreted from ebony wood and carved with a three-dimensional pineapple pattern. Still not satisfying? A very challenging figure is created, a traditional Laguiole motif. Not finished yet! Each set is offered with a facet set of brilliant diamond and finally, only eight people can own this pen. I guess that’s enough for the price!

For many people, this pen is from another planet and that’s right. L’Aubrac Limited Edition 8 is for people who dedicated to write and have the financial strength to support their niche hobby. By the way, you may buy a brand new Range Rover Evoque for this price but it won’t be that exclusive.

Montblanc TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph

Montblanc is well-known for its writing instruments. However, it is not the only product range they do offer. Today, I wanted to talk about Montblanc’s new watch, TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph.
I know, Montblanc gave a very long name to this watch but that’s necessary. Like cars, watches are very complicated products. Since they were invented, the fundamentals of the watches did not change that much. Pure mechanics!
TimeWalker TwinFly is also a mechanical watch with MB calibre (MB L100) with automatic movement and chronograph function. The case is 43 mm shot-blasted titanium, so this makes it impossible to destroy. Bezel is fixed shot-biased made from titanium.
The reason for this in-depth detail is to emphasise the characteristics of the TimeWalker TwinFly watch. And show the Montblanc’s dedication to detailed craftsmanship. This is not a quartz watch, runs with crystal. It is pure mechanical.
One of the main characteristics of Monblanc watch is the anti-posing. Posing is intangible, unlike engineering you cannot specify it very easily. A Montblanc watch is not designed to be a posing item and flash in every place you visit. Instead, Montblanc watch shows that you like automatic watches and you don’t wish to show it to everyone.
Some people say, watch is a car that you can wear. In my opinion, Montblanc can be similar to McLaren. Perfect engineering, outstanding quality but only people who really knows that product understands it.
