Pong Research iPhone Case

Pong Research, probably you did not heard of this brand before. Since last week, I never heard as well. While I was playing with the new social networking sites Fancy, I saw Pong Research’s iPhone case. I think iPhone is one of the most common things on internet, there are endless number of cases for Apple products.
However, Pong Research’s iPhone case is totally different! It is designed to reduce the electromagnetic (EMR) radiation, which is created by the mobile devices and improve the antenna reception. Also, Pong Research’s iPhone case is certified by the FCC. Moreover, this case improves the battery life as well. As a result of these tempting features, I bought one immediately. 
After I did the purchase, I noticed some problems with the delivery and contacted with the Pong Research by Twitter. Shockingly, they responded on Saturday night nearly after half an hour from my tweet, and resolved the problem. I experienced many customer services on Twitter but I never seen something like this.
Anyway, I received the iPhone case and started to use it. As you expected, I cannot understand the EMR reduction by the case, however I experienced slightly better reception and battery life. Don’t expect to receive calls inside the lift or in extreme places, however Pong Research case gives you a bit more battery life that can save your day.
Since I started to use, I am really happy with the case in terms of functionality and design.

Leica M Monochrom: Full Frame Black and White

Leica M Monochrom, you didn’t read wrong or I did not make a typo. Leica recently introduced a monochrome (black/white) digital camera. For many people, they will say this “why”. Let me explain, before the digital camera era, you had opportunity to take black and white photos with black and white film. In those years, the films were available as colour or black and white.
However, as the technology developed and we throw out analogue cameras. Thus, taking black and white photos turned into a problem. Unlike old times, the modern digital cameras use filters to turn coloured photos into black and white. This may not sound that bad, but for professionals it is not something that nice. Because, the original photos is manipulated by software and the quality is definitely reduced.
So, Leica introduced a full frame 35mm (18-mega pixel) digital camera with changeable lens. Leica M Monochrom enables you to take pure black and white photos without any software manipulation and bring very high quality results. Moreover, M Monochrom offers full manual modes, so that you have the full control of the camera. Additionally, you can use any lens that matches with your purpose. Thanks to black and white full frame sensor, the light sensivity of Leica M Monochrom is better than colour cameras and provide better results, the highest ISO level is 10000 with very low noise ratio.

Price of Leica M Monochrom is around £6000. Why so expensive? Because, full frame sensors are nearly twenty times more expensive manufacture than normal sized one. As a result of this, the price of the camera jumps to this level.

PANTONE iPhone Case

Pantone iPhone is one of the most creative and well priced case in the market. I recently started to use this car, because I had opportunity to have any colour I wish to have. In many iPhone cases, you either have the colour or you don’t have quality, or the price is very high.

However, Pantone iPhone is really well made and price is not expensive! And also it is stylish and unique. Usually, if you want something stylish and unique; you end up with a very heavy price tag! But not with Pantone.

Maserati Passion iPhone, iPad Application

Maserati finally released an iPhone and iPad application (Maserati Passion). People who follow my blog know that Maserati is my favourite brand. So, I immediately installed the iPhone and iPad Maserati applications. And hopefully they don’t consume too much memory space, that’s a big plus! 
My first impressions are, the Maserati application is really nicely designed, easy to use and gives you what you need! However, there are some minor issues. And this is normal for the first version. iPad edition is not optimised for Retina Display and the images look a bit blur, and when you touch the Maserati Store button, it directs to Maserati Store website. Unfortunately, that website is not optimised for mobile devices and quite hard to use it with touch screen.
But these problems can be resolved very easily. If you are planning to configure your favourite Maserati, this application is the best! My advise, you should install it as soon as possible :)

New Technology from Jack Dorsey (Twitter) and Automotive Industry

Jack Dorsey is the inventor of the Twitter. And Jack changed the fundamentals of communication forever, now Twitter has its own rules for personal communication, advertising, marketing and even for networking. Basically, Twitter changed the way we communicate!
Now Jack Dorsey created a new company called Square. I am not going to talk for ages about this new technology. Basicaly, Square offers a device, which can be plugged into iPhone, iPad, iPod or Android devices. And it is called Square Card Reader! Square Card Reader is plugged into headphone jack and enables you to swap your credit card for shopping. So, you don’t need to worry about credit card numbers or any weakness of mobile devices or waste your time by typing. Square is safe and it is as easy as shopping from a supermarket.
In terms of automotive; Square Card Reader is going to boost the consumption through mobile device and like Twitter, there will be a new era for mobile shopping. For automotive industry, the opportunity is to design their merchandise stores compatible with this technology and enable consumers to use their mobile devices for consumption. In future, I am definitely sure, we will be able to purchase our cars through mobile devices. But it will take very very very long time to change the fundamentals of car consumption but it will happen in future.

Nothing is Perfect even Apple iPhone

I have just realised that iPhone’s battery indicator is at 18% and 1 sits slightly lower than 8 and also the gap between the numbers are very close! It sounds and looks totally unexpected from a perfectionist company like Apple. 1 and 8 are supposed to be at the same level. Nevertheless, nothing is perfect, even the most perfect thing. 
I have iPhone 4 with IOS 5.2 operation system.
