Natalie Portman Runaway Bride at Miss Dior | How to Avoid? #ITISMISSACTUALLY

Natalie Portman is the runaway bridge from the Miss Dior’s latest advertisement campaign. Natalie flees to her Cote D’Azur wedding ceremony and the last minute she decided to avoid saying “I do”. It was like a rejected take-off of an airplane. However, as she decided to run away from the wedding, she was some difficulties. Such as, her high heeled shoes. In case of changing your mind at the wedding ceremony, you need to be accelerating faster than a Bugatti Veyron. Also, the wedding dress was important, it was quite aerodynamic and did not create any drag whilst she was running to her lover, who was waiting inside a silly helicopter.

The biggest question how to avoid a bride to run away from the wedding? 1) Invest on shoes! Get Tom Ford’s pump high heels with ankle strap and locks model. If you have the key, she won’t be able to take them off and running will be an issue. 2) Arrange a wedding dress that has a massive aerodynamic drag and heavy, it will save time. 3) Let her go, forced marriage will not work. Better to avoid at an early stage!

Gianmarco Lorenzi Spring/Summer 2015 (High-Heeled Mules)

Gianmarco Lorenzi Spring/Summer 2015 (SS15) (mostly high-heeled mules) collection is ready on London store. Yesterday, I had time to visit the Gianmarco Lorenzi’s store to see the new collection and take some photos to blog. As you would expected, no platform and skyscraper heels are on the focus with Gianmarco Lorenzi as well. Also, this season they offers mules from early 2000s. There will be more shoes to arrive on their London store, so it does worth to check it again!

To look stylish, your feet may suffer a bit. But you can not put a price a unique style!

Christian Louboutin Spring / Summer 2015 collection is ready for you. The press photos of new Louboutins highly emphasise the excitement of the summer and advice a new way of using your red soles heels!

The scenery was photographed by Peter Lippmann. The message of the photos, never take out your red soles even at the bathroom. However, I really wonder the impact of the water on Christian Louboutin heels. As they are made by leather, plastic and glue. These materials especially the glue may not be happy to hang out with hot water.

Christian Louboutin 8-inch Ballet Heels from Selfridges

A few years ago, Christian Louboutin released a conceptual pair of high-heeled shoes—8-inch ballet heels! However, they never made it into production because they were literally impossible to walk in. Nevertheless, that didn’t change the fact that I recently spotted these 8-inch conceptual high-heeled ballet shoes at Selfridges.

These 8-inch ballet heels are part of Louboutin’s nail polish collection campaign. Surprisingly, some customers are quite excited about these heels and express a desire to purchase them. Am I surprised? Of course not! In the fashion industry, if there’s something extraordinary, there’s always someone willing to buy it, regardless of its usability!

By the way, these 8-inch ballet heels are available in size 38 (5)!

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga were in front of the camera for the H&M’s latest holiday campaign for 2014. This campaign will be on TV by the end of the November and also, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga released an album end of the September. 
However, there is something interesting on this campaign, the shoes of Lady Gaga are not from H&M. Her heels are from the Italian designer, Gianmarco Lorenzi (No. 34 Court Shoe)

Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin Celebrates the LV Monogram

Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin celebrates the LV Monogram. I know this sounds a bit contradicting, Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin are competitors in some aspects. They both make handbags, they both make shoes and they both compete at the same mainstream luxury market. All of a sudden, we see a collection from Louis Vuitton made by Christian Louboutin.

This time, it is a bit exceptional. Louis Vuitton celebrates 160th anniversary of its iconic and a bit boring Monogram. Why I said boring? First of all, I really love the iconic Monogram of Louis Vuitton, it does reflect the DNA of the brand and also the heritage. However, due to Louis Vuitton marketing strategy, we see Monogram products all over the places. It is too much! Similar to Mercedes AMG cars, they are state-of-art engineering but I don’t want to see them every 5-min. As a result of excessive exposure of the Monogram pattern, unfortunately I dislike it. Despite my dislike, an iconic collection from Louis Vuitton should be based on the Monogram pattern.

And LV did the same, Christian Louboutin created a collection that harmonised the ultra-thin stiletto heels of Christian Louboutin with Louis Vuitton bags. Personally, I really loved the collaboration, it is extremely rare to spot a collection like this. My personal opinion, this collection is more than a fashion collection. It represents, how two very well-known and competitive fashion brands ability to work together and create a collection that will be remembered for years.

Unfortunately, the downside of Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin collection is the price tag. They both harmonised their price tags as well!

Christian Louboutin Hot Chick, 130 mm or 13cm heels with no platform! Even the Christian Louboutin’s website indirectly emphasised the impossibility to walk with these heels. However, many Louboutin lovers took the Hot Chick challenge seriously and decided to walk with them.

With a plunging 130mm pitch, she may be built more for posing than walking. So, slip her on, pose, and let others come to you. (Ref. Christian Louboutin Website)

As the Hot Chick is a brand new pair of shoes, therefore I couldn’t find many photos on Instagram but even the ones I found, you can see the commitment to be stylish at any condition!

Chrysler Ypsilon vs. High Heels

According to Chrysler (Lancia) in UK, a woman spends around £168 per month to look good. This can be extended more precisely; beauty products, shoes, clothes, magazines and lots of etc. From the advertisement, Chrysler (Lancia) is trying to give a message to women for substituting their high-heeled shoes for Chrysler (Lancia) Ypsilon. Chrysler Ypsilon vs. high heels is a big challenge!

Will it work? Of course not! Based on my experiences with fashion industry and blogger, women can live without a car but cannot live with a pair heels! Basically, women will not sacrifice to look good just for Ypsiolon.

Meanwhile, Lancia’s future is very unclear and Fiat Group may vanish the brand all of a sudden. That’s another risk as well. Lastly, Fiat is marketing Lancia under the Chrysler brand in UK. I really don’t know why.
