Product Review: New Apple iPad Mini Retina | Does It Worth to Buy?

New Apple iPad Mini Retina. Does it really worth to buy? Definitely, Yes! I wasn’t a fan of iPad Mini since the beginning, I was thinking the full size iPad would be the best experience but I was wrong. First of all, before iPad Air, iPads were heavy and not that small to fit everywhere. That’s why many people including me, started to use their iPads less and less. The weight of device was the major issue and it wasn’t smaller than a laptop. So, larger screen mobile phones and ultrabooks or Macbook Air started to replace the unique place of iPads.
However, the new iPad Mini Retina changed everything. It offers the same level of pixel-per-inch level with iPhone 5S, 326 ppi! The screen of the iPad Mini Retina is very sharp, you can see every single detail so easily. Also, Mini Retina is way lighter than a full size iPad, only 330gr! And this makes it easier to carry around everywhere and you don’t need to sacrifice a huge space for the device.
The performance of the iPad Mini Retina is at the same level with iPad Air. The same processor, same graphics performance, the same amount of RAM. So, this makes the Mini Retina a very good alternative. Also, you can read newspapers, magazines, website without any problem. The Retina display gives you a very clear image.
If you wish to have a fresh start with iPad, Mini Retina should be the best option.

How to Improve The Battery Performance of iPhone?

How to improve the battery performance of iPhone? There are many articles about this, so I am not going to discuss about this issue with many paragraphs. I would like to share my ways to improve the batter performance of iPhone.
First way is to switching of Auto-Brightness. Auto-Brightness function manipulates the level of brightness according to the light level on that particular environment. However, iPhone never thinks about the battery life whist adjusting the brightness. And in many situations, iPhone adjusts the brightness to maximum while your battery was struggling to survive. Just switch of the Auto-Brightness and adjust manually.
Second one is the notorious GPS or location services. iPhone loves to use GPS service for anything, even for the simplest things, such as adjusting the time. That’s how many people experience battery issues with iPhone. In order to check what iPhone is doing with the GPS or location services.  Find the Privacy menu on the Settings, and then scroll down to System Services. Here you will find the battery eaters and turn off everything except Compass Calibration and Mobile Network Search, the rest is literally useless. Again scroll down the menu and find Status Bar Icon, turn on. By this way, if anyone app uses the GPS or location services, you will see an arrow next to battery level.
When you notice an app uses the GPS constantly, find the Privacy menu and touch Locations Services. Now just scroll down for the app, which has a pink arrow. This means, that app is using the GPS and eating your battery. Just turn it off :)
These tactics apply iPod Touch, iPad, and iPad Mini

Montblanc, Harrods and Aurasma. Montblanc is one of the best writing instruments company and probably the most luxurious one. Many people recognise the Montblanc from its White Star logo located on the top of each Montblanc pen.
Harrods is another iconic brand in luxury, or it is the birthplace of luxury department store. There is only one Harrods store in the world and it is the most iconic and remarkable one. Unlike other brands, Harrods did not extend store locations and kept itself unique.
And Aurasma, probably you never heard of it! It is the augment reality application for iPhone, iPad and Android phones. It is founded in UK two years ago and became a milestone of augment reality world. It is a very simple application; you install the application on your mobile then found a photo that is identified by Aurasma application and just place your phone in front of the photo. The augment show starts!
It is very easy to use and you will see photo or application or video on your mobile.
Montblanc opened an Art Gallery (David Geffen) by Aurasma application. First of all, you need to go to Harrods and find the Montblanc display. To find Montblanc, you need walk and walk in front of Harrods and just before the building finishes, you will the virtual art gallery on your left side.
Secondly, you need to start the Aurasma app in your mobile and place your camera towards square picture that looks like a QR code. And please be patient, due to heavy mobile internet traffic on that area, it may take some time to load the art gallery on your mobile. There are sixteen artwork of David Geffen.
After that, you will see the art gallery in your mobile, and you can go around the gallery by touching forward and backward buttons.
But don’t forget this is an augment reality, when you move your phone somewhere else, you will stop seeing the gallery, you need to keep your phone at the same position during your visit to virtual gallery. Unfortunately, tomorrow is the last day :(

Christian Louboutin iPad Case: Cris

Christian Louboutin and iPad. Two contradicting notions are together in the same topic, Christian Louboutin iPad case.

Why contradicting? Christian Louboutin is specialised on manufacturing high heels with spikes on them, and Apple’s iPad is the combination of high technology materials controlled by a sensitive touch screen. The contradiction is high heels with spikes can easily destroy the sensitive screen of the iPad, but not this time.

Christian Louboutin recently introduced a spiked iPad case, Cris. It is available in black, red, beige, tartan, leopard print and dragon tattoo. The interior of Cris, is covered with red leather like the sole of the Christian Louboutin heels! Cris is a great interpretation of high heels in iPad case form.

Of course the Louboutin experience for your iPad is not cheap like their heels. Louboutin iPad Cris is £495, the Dragon Tattoo is £1195, Leopard £550!

£1195, more expensive than the most expensive iPad.

Muji Touchscreen Gloves

Muji touchscreen gloves; touchscreen and winter, these two notions do not match with each other. The problem is the gloves, when you wear gloves during the winter times, you cannot use your touchscreen phone. And you need to take them off and put them on again, this goes forever.
Muji touchscreen gloves solve this problem. The fingertips are made from conductive materials and you can easily use your touchscreen phone with these gloves. Muji offers wide range of different touchscreen gloves for your taste. Usually, touchscreen gloves are not that fashion friendly and limited with very few colours.
My experience, I have been using a different brand touchscreen gloves and they made my life very easy. The idea is very simple, but definitely cleaver.
However, there is one minor issue with the Muji touchscreen gloves. They are not cheap! If you are keen on losing gloves, you will probably lose £12 each time. If you are good with keeping your gloves for long years, it would be a very good investment.

An Excellent Navigation App for iPhone IOS 6: myGPS

IOS 6 Update for your iPhone was one of the biggest shocked for many people. Especially, if you were using your iPhone’s Google Maps app to find your way. Google Maps was providing a proper navigation and saving our lives! And never ends in Canada when you search for London in UK! The satellite photos were not from the Second World War and not covered with clouds. Actually, there are lots things to criticise about the new Apple Map application came with IOS 6.
After the Apple Maps headed me to University College Birmingham instead of University of Birmingham, I started to look for a free navigation application on iTunes. There are many applications but they don’t offer walking service, there are some of them offer everything but want to vacuum your bank account. Thus, I decide to find something in the middle, cheap and useful.
And I didn’t give up and hopefully I found this, myGPS. It is only £0.69 ($0.99) at the moment. You can use Google search to find a place without dealing with postcode or street name. You can navigate for walk or drive. The map is based on OpenStreetMap and very reliable. The user interface is very easy to use and even with iPhone 4, myGPS works brilliantly. I couldn’t find anything to criticise, may be the lack of satellite images but that’s fine. You can still have the satellite images by using Google Maps from the Safari web browser.
I am really happy with the myGPS, I know it will never ever fill the place of Google Maps but that’s the best thing we can get at the moment. And walking navigation works really well!
Yes, I tried to walk to McLaren Head Office in Woking :)

Montblanc Mesterstück iPhone and iPad Cases

Montblanc Meisterstück iPhone 4/4S and iPad cases. We are only hours away from the new Apple iPhone 5, but I cannot skip the Montblanc’s leather collection for iPhone and iPad. I know many people will rush into new iPhone but at the same time, many people will keep using their iPhone.
And the best way to refresh your excitement with your gadget is to replace the case. A totally new case especially from Montblanc will definitely improve your experience with your iPhone or iPad, honestly it worked me :)
For the iPad, you really need a case. I am using iPad for nearly 1.5 years; and without case your iPad will definitely be scratched. Also, case enables you to carry your iPad in a more convenient way. And personalise it.
Montblanc Meisterstück leather iPad is same the iPhone case, sleeve style. For some people, sleeve style cases may not be so convenient but, if you use your iPad not for writing and just for surfing on internet, sleeve case would be fine for you.
Montblanc Meisterstück Leather iPad Case (Compatible with iPad 2 and new iPad) (Mocha, Chocolaate and Forest colours) – Price £310
Montblanc Meisterstück Leather iPhone Case (Comptible with iPhone 4/4S) – Price £140

Maserati Passion iPhone, iPad Application

Maserati finally released an iPhone and iPad application (Maserati Passion). People who follow my blog know that Maserati is my favourite brand. So, I immediately installed the iPhone and iPad Maserati applications. And hopefully they don’t consume too much memory space, that’s a big plus!
My first impressions are, the Maserati application is really nicely designed, easy to use and gives you what you need! However, there are some minor issues. And this is normal for the first version. iPad edition is not optimised for Retina Display and the images look a bit blur, and when you touch the Maserati Store button, it directs to Maserati Store website. Unfortunately, that website is not optimised for mobile devices and quite hard to use it with touch screen.
But these problems can be resolved very easily. If you are planning to configure your favourite Maserati, this application is the best! My advise, you should install it as soon as possible :)

Jaguar XJ Ultimate iPad

Jaguar XJ Ultimate, a new line in Jaguar’s biggest car XJ. During the Beijing Auto Show, Jaguar revealed the Ultimate. It may not sound that different but the interior received a serious upgrade and became one of the best interior on market. Actually, the level of craftsmanship and quality look quite similar to Rolls Royce and Bentley.
Like its competitors (Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series and Audi A8), Ultimate offers individual two seat at the rear, so you don’t have to get close with the other passenger. And best part is champagne chiller! I don’t know why the automotive industry is obsessed with champagne chiller, each luxury brand offers this features. So, if you are very rich and driven by a chauffeur, you have to drink champagne not water or anything else, champagne.
Jaguar also follows the trend of placing iPads inside car and Ultimate come with two iPads with wireless keyboard. The only problem will be, when people see the sharp screen of iPad and then they see the blur navigation and instrument panel screens of XJ, they might be disappointed with this. Because, Jaguar’s navigation and instrument panel screens are below the contemporary technology standards in terms of pixel per inches. When you have opportunity to compare with iPad, you will understand the difference.
I hope Jaguar will replace these screens soon!

If you want to know what is this pixel per inch, here is the answer! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_density
Last generation iPad has 264 PPi!

Range Rover Autobiography iPad Edition

Another Range Rover is revealed in Geneva Motorshow. This new model is Range Rover Autobiography iPad Edition, sorry!!! Ultimate Edition. Very basically, this new model is a sign of Land Rover’s ambition to position the Range Rover into upper segment to compete with any potential SUV from Bentley or Aston Martin. For long years, Range Rover perceived as a luxury SUV but never been sophisticated like an Aston Martin or Bentley or Rolls Royce.
However, Aston Martin revealed a concept SUV and Bentley can reveal an SUV based on Audi Q7 at any moment. Therefore Range Rover has to be redefined. This new Ultimate Edition will turn Vogue into a very plain model. This edition has lots of highly crafted wood everywhere inside the car which I love very much :) The rear seat are only two, no room for third person. And this seating strategy is a clear signal of Range Rover’s future strategy. Like in Rolls Royce, Bentley and Maybach the rear seats are totally a different world. There are exquisite cup holders, again lots of leather and wood. Individual weather control buttons, buttons to play with your seats position. And there are two iPads with Bluetooth keyboards. Apple charges extra money for Bluetooth keyboards! These iPads has a tiny problem, are they going to be iPad 1 or iPad 2? I know this sounds really stupid but when you pay a lot of money for a car, you wish to have every equipment is latest ones, not from the warehouse. Probably those iPad will be second generation.
I think this new Range Rover “Bentley and Aston Martin, I am coming with iPad” edition will definitely increase the sales figures of Land Rover!
